Located deep within the core, the Darpa Sector has long been a hub of Imperial business, and is home to one of the most instrumental military instillation the galaxy. Containing the well known systems Ralltiir, Cardia and Esseles, Darpa was a key sector, stabilized early on in the Imperial rise to power. Formerly home to the Esselian Empire, the sector is now administered by the famed veteran Moff, Jake Kiltar. While Ralltiir and Esseles may be key strategic planets, Carida is perhaps the most prominent system as it is home to one of the Galaxy's most intense and elite training compounds. It is on Carida where the majority of all Imperial Stormtroopers are recruited and trained. Due to its close proximity to Imperial Center and its position on the Perlemian Trade Route, Darpa is home to a constant flow of traffic in all designated space lanes, and is continuously being industrialized and expanded. For these reasons the Darpa Sector defenses are among the greatest in the galaxy, and the sector staffing are only the finest the Empire has to offer.
