Imperial Academy graduate.

The Imperial Academy is the Galactic Empire's educational institution which prepares recruits for service in the Imperial Navy and Imperial Army. The Academy is run by the Academy Commandant who reports to the Vizier of the Coalition for Progress.

Structure

Imperial Basic Training

This is the first school that most Imperials will attend. The Current Provost General is LTJG Vrogard Delahon. IBT as it is known, covers all of the basics that a new member of the Empire and of SWC needs to know in order to become familiar with both the Darkness game engine and the workings with in the Galactic Empire. Currently using the Claroline training system, IBT is waiting for the new members area to be completed so that it can create a customized training program to better suite it's needs and requirements.

School of Officer and Command Studies

This school was established to train the future officers of the Imperial Military branches. Currently headed by RADM Senki Blackrain, who was responsable for organizing the school and getting it operational after the former automated system was brought down with the demise of the old Members Area. Former Deans of the school include VADM Overmind and VADM Calor Assam. The school is currently under going a slight refit so that it will be prepaired for it's next challenge; Training the future leaders of the MInd and Government officals to help lead the Civilian branches of the Empire.

School of Engineering

A school first created to help train the members of the Empire in several fields. Classes include Construction, Mining and Prospecting, Recycling, Item and Ship production. The School is currently closed, while a major refit is conducted. This is being over seen by it's new Dean VIZ Jacen Varos. Past Dean, Moff Tanez Kalrade, over saw the school during it's inception until it's demise with the loss of the Members Area.

History

In Year 7, the Universitas Imperius (as the Imperial Academy was then known as) was formed after an overhaul of the Imperial educational system. Taking advantage of the latest technologies, universities were established on every capital planet in Imperial-controlled systems as part of the Universitas Imperius Education System (UIES).

Under the leadership of Chancellor Rann Van, appointed by the Ministry of Operations as the dean of Universitas Imperius, several colleges under the UIES were formed, including the School of Acting, Officer's College, School of Engineering, School of Army Studies, School of Navy Studies, and School of Law and Foreign Relations.

Following Van's retirement, Tec Vaan was appointed as the new Chancellor of the UIES. Upon the reunification of the New Imperial Order and the Galactic Empire, Universitas Imperius was renamed the Imperial Academy.
