Katharyn Blackstone is new to the Empire. She recently graduated the academy with a 90% Average, and now works in the Imperial Navy
Early Years
Katharyn was born to her mother several years after her father, a down-on-his-luck freighter captain, left her to seek his fortunes in the outer rim. Katharyn's mother died on the streets when Katharyn was four, leaving her daughter to fend for herself. Katharyn spend the next seven years begging for her food on the streets, and sleeping wherever she could find a dry spot.

Learning to Pilot
She was eventually picked up by the pilot of an interplanetary shuttle company. She worked as a cabin-girl, bringing guests their drinks and requests, and in her spare time, she would watch the crew at work on the bridge, enamoured with spaceflight. The pilot taught her everything she now knows
Today
Katharyn is now twenty-two, and has begun her search for her place in the galaxy, funded by the small amount of money she saved during her days on the shuttle
