Introduction

Octavian Sextus Neutronus is an intelligent and competent member of the Imperial Navy. He had a privileged youth as the son of a prominent Imperial engineer and a doctor. Having attended a prestigious COMPNOR youth academy he was well placed to take up service within the Imperium.

Personal History

Background

Octavian Sextus Neutronus is the eldest son of the House Neutronus, a prosperous family belonging to the elite classes on Corellia. The Neutronus family had flourished in the service of the Imperium and expected their children to do the same. Although thriving his family were by no means wealthy. Their estate and everything they needed was provided by the Empire and they had no desire for more money than was required.

The family lived in what could be described as a palatial estate tucked in to a clearing in the forest South of Imperial Citadel 107. The house consisted of a main building spread over two floors in which the family lived, a four-story square tower, and an East Wing that had a small but permanent Imperial uniformed presence.

His mother Flavia, an experimental physician, was forthright and spoke with a level of precision that was only surpassed by her skill with a scalpel. She loved her son dearly but had prepared herself mentally years in advance for the day when she would give her son to the Imperium.

His father Octavian was of a warmer sort. Whilst Sextus would go to his mother for the where, what and when, it was in the realm of why where his father would shine. An engineer by trade he had helped revolutionise the construction of warships. Although his work would keep him busy, he would always make time for his family.

This was made clear to Sextus in recent years whilst at the Coronet COMPNOR Youth Academy on Corellia. It was a residential academy, but his father would visit him often to ensure his son would become a man of virtue. Veiled beneath the serious surface Sextus rendered on to the world a playful demeanour with a terrific sense of humour that could occasionally divide opinion.
