An evolution of the [[TIE/ln]], the TIE/in has become a feared, inspirational and much sought after [[spacecraft]]. Variations in this model include; Improved [[TIE Series|Twin Ion Engines]], more efficient power plant, arrow shaped solar panels (giving the pilot a better lateral view compared to the TIE Fighter), improved fire power and a more advanced avionics and targeting computer system. The Interceptor relies on one more characteristic to avoid enemy fire other than it's speed: the greatly improved maneuverability, possible thanks to a complete redesign of the solar panel arrays.

[[Capital ships]] are mostly designed to fight other [[capital ships]], transport troops, [[ships]], equipment, other resources or to assist in orbital bombardments, they lack the capacity of strong efficient anti-[[starfighter|fighter]] weapons. Except for the [[Lancer Frigate]] and [[Dreadnaught]], all other [[capitals]] have little to no anti-[[starfighter|fighter]] weapons. That is where [[starfighter|fighter]] support kicks in, as the best weapon against an incoming [[starfighter|fighter]] or bomber is another [[starfighter|fighter]]. The best [[starfighter]] for this being the TIE Interceptor.

As there were very dark times, I allow him to re-integrate his post of site maintainer, but only as Lt.. But that was words ... he never worked as needed ...he completely left his duty ...

I have decided to tell you the story of Lt Eole.
Lt Eole was one of the first member of the 3rd Recon. He began as simple pilot in Thor in Year -1 Day -276. He quickly became promoted because of his activity. He was successfully Ens, then Lt and CO of Thor. He created our site, received the Imperial Distinguished Award, was then promoted as Lt-Cmdr .... This was in Year -1 Day -215 ...
