Imperial Academy (Holonet)

Affiliation Ministry of Operations

Universitas Imperius is the improved Imperial Training System. Its Professors are responsible for training the next generation of Imperials and assuring that Imperials are up-to-date on the latest procedures and tactics. Recent decisions by Imperial High Command have expanded Universitas Imperius from simply the Imperial Academy to a tiered "school system", whereby Imperials can get various degrees based on which schools they have completed and how many classes they have completed. It is currently part of the Subministry of Culture within the Ministry of Operations.

Positions

Chancellor

Overall head of Universitas Imperius, and therefore responsible for central administration. Appointed by Ministry of Operations.

Dean

The Head of a Particular School.

Assistant Dean

Appointed by the Dean to aide in their leadership of a school, and to serve as acting Dean in the dean's absence.

Professor

Formerly known as a Tutor, a Professor is responsible for primary instruction of new students. Additionally they are expected to report any suspicious activity by their students to DII.

Schools:

Imperial Academy

(Status: Active)

The Imperial Academy remains as the basic training organization for new Imperials. After passing a background check, students must complete several competency exams. During this time, the student will receive a physical examination by Academy medical staff to check if they are fit for duty. Then the student will submit for a psychological evaluation to check if they are mentally fit for duty and how loyal they are. The student is expected to apply for their ID card from the GE Art Team. The final step involves the branch decision. While Honors graduates may have the option of being assigned to the Government (specifically the Ministry of Operations) , only two choices exist for most graduates: Army and Navy.

School of Acting

(Status:Pending)

The School of Acting is a personal project by Chancellor Van to teach Imperials about effective roleplaying.

Officer's College

(Status: Pending) Also known as the School of officer and Command Studies. The Officer's College is still in development with lessons being organized by veteran Imperials. These lessons will include lectures on leadership, tactics, drafting orders, and much more. Applicant's must achieve rank E-9 or E-10, and have approval of both their unit and branch CO's to enroll. Applicants are chosen by their unit CO.

Possible schools:

School of Medicine

A dedicated medical school has been a possibility since the Academy reform began. Despite the desire of some to see such an institution, Academy staff have insisted that this school will wait until other more important schools are completed.
