Early Life
Marquis was born into the Hamet family, one of the many people related to the Kingdom of Hapes. As such, Marquis had a privileged upbringing. His parents sent him to a prestigious boarding school, where he excelled at his studies, and took many extracurricular activities, such as athletics, marksmanship, and volunteering in the community to help build his social skills. His parents took a keen interest in his upbringing insuring he would be a man of high standing in the kingdom, to honor the Hamet name. Taking after his father who was a Navy Admiral, Marquis left Stalsinek IV to join the military and further advance his career and his family’s fortunes. He’s since become an expert marksman and soldier who holds his own in combat. He hopes to be appointed to the Emperors Royal Guard and serve the Throne for the rest of his life.
Joining the Empire
Marquis enrolled in the Imperial Academy on Y18 D304, curious about what he was going to encounter he walked into the Academy full of energy and ready to start a career with the Empire. Commodore Euler, was recently reactivated as an instructor at the Imperial Academy and Marquis had the honor of being is first student following his return. Coming from the Hapes Cluster both Instructor Euler and Marquis were able to build repport with each other and have something to talk about outside of Academics. Instructor Euler is regarded as Marquis's first friend and mentor since joining the Empire.
