The Third Imperial Fleet, also known as 3IF is a combination of the original Fourth and Eighth Imperial Fleets after the Navy Restructuring on Day 221 of Year 12. This fleet is tasked with the protection of the Corellian Sector, in addition to defending the ideals and goals of the Empire as a whole, and forcing her enemies to flee from the very sight of an Imperial ship. The fleet was formed under the command of Commodore Arya Downing. The original 4th and 8th Imperial fleets were re-organised into the 4th Recon Group commanded by Commander Galdarzz Aalon (4th GXO was Lieutenant Commander Jarek Darklighter), and the 8th Assault Group, Commanded by Captain Khaleon Hope (8th GXO was Lieutenant Commander Jevan Katherion).
