Alex 'Mando Slayer' Delton is a 24-year-old Human male, who served as a Flight Sergeant in the Imperial Navy.

Biography

The Son of an Admiral

Alex Delton was born on Tatooine, a planet controlled by the New Republic, on the 255th Day of Year -12. He is the younger of two sons, the children of his father, Tori, and his mother, Maria. Alex's childhood years on Tatooine were comfortable, as his father, an Admiral in the New Republic Navy, was a very wealthy man.

As an Admiral in the New Republic's naval forces, Alex's father tried to raise his sons to one day become members of the New Republic military. However, Alex's older brother, Cazex, was drawn to the Galactic Empire, the New Republic's mortal enemy, and dreamed of one day becoming an officer in the Imperial Navy. When he was old enough to enlist, Cazex approached his father and told him of his intention to enrol in the Imperial Academy. Understandably, Alex's father was not at all pleased to hear this from his firstborn child, and he had his son detained in his room so he wouldn't be able to go to an ICR station and enlist. However, Alex freed his older brother, and Cazex packed his bags, with the intention of never returning home again. It would be the last time Alex would ever see his brother.

Years later, while Alex was attending university, his father used his influence to guarantee Alex would receive a commission as a New Republic naval officer after he graduated and got his degree from school. After his graduation, Alex returned home and found that he had received a holonet letter from Cazex, who said he was very happy with his life as an Imperial, and that he would soon be promoted. As Alex was reading Cazex's letter, his father came into his Room with the New Republic commission he had brought for his son.

Alex was not happy about this latest development, and he fought with his father, stating that it was unfair for his father to chose his destiny for him. Alex tore up the commission in front of his father, telling him that he would rather die than accept it and become his brother's enemy. That night, Alex ran away from home with only the clothes on his back, and as soon as he could, he sent a letter to his brother stating what had happened and that he wanted to enroll in the Academy and become an Imperial as well. He waited for a response from his brother, but there was no response at all. 2 months later Alex received a letter from the Imperial government stating that Cazex Delton had been killed in action. Alex read the letter with tears in his eyes, and he decided to contact his best friend, Jonathon Wisener, so he could tell him about Cazex's fate.

Wisener and the Delton brothers where very close friends when they were growing up, and they all had a desire to one day serve in the Galactic Empire, no matter what their fathers thought. One day, Alex went to Wisener's house, and found that Jonathon had already had his bag packed and was ready to leave Tatooine. The two young men left together for the spaceport and the Empire.

At the spaceport, Alex once again saw his father, who realized that no matter what he did, his son had it in his heart to join the Imperial military. In a move that surprised both Alex and Jon, Admiral Delton allowed both of the boys to leave. This was the last time Alex had seen his father, but he did learn years later that, with both of his sons serving in the Empire, his father had decided to retire, rather than risk the chance of fighting his own sons in a battle one day.

Alex and Jon joined the Empire, and eventually graduated from the Imperial Academy, both becoming Crewmen in the Imperial Navy. Crewman Delton had an overwhelming desire to serve the New Order with pride and honour, and he strove to be the best Imperial he could be in honor of his brother and his father. More than anything, Alex strived to be recognized for his talents like his brother, and to learn the skills necessary to one day become a good leader like his father.

After an initially rocky start in the service of the Imperial Navy, Alex finally received a long-overdue promotion from Crewman to Flight Corporal, at last catching up to his peers, Flight Corporal Sirius Constantine and Corporal Kol Seraph.

After Alex's promotion to Flight Corporal, he felt it was time for him to reestablish contact with his family. Over a secure holonet channel, Alex was pleased to learn from his mother that she was pregnant again, and his father was proud to see his son excelling in his chosen career, despite being in the service of a different flag.

Pleased to learn that he would at last be someone's older brother, and that his parents were proud of his achievements as an Imperial soldier, Alex redoubled his efforts to show his peers and his superiors that he belonged in the New Order.

A Married Man

On the 336th Day of the 12th Year of the New Order, Alex Delton married Madisson Mackenzie, whom he had met and proposed to several months before, after they had met at the Academy. The marriage was officiated by Alex's Fleet Commanding Officer, with Flight Corporals Pak Gjin and Mace Nothel serving as Best Man and Bridesmaid, respectively. The wedding was organized by Sergeant Kol Seraph.
