Biography

The Awakening

The training for one young Daedric Adun began as early as 5 years of age. It started with body conditioning. Waking up at 0430 to run a couple miles prior to eating a meager breakfast. Over the years it became easier and easier to run, to jump, to swim, and to lift the weight that his father would place on him. He was training, at the time he didn't know for what. It's all he knew. At age 7 his father felt that he was ready. The day finally came where he would taste blood for the first time. Where he would take a life.

The morning of the, what he now calls the Awakening, he could think straight.

"Father?" He asked as he sat at the dinner table after his conditioning eating his meager breakfast.

"Yes, Daedric?" answered his father. He poured him a glass of Ameg juice. He pulled out a chair and sat across from him, eating some scrambled eggs that he had prepared.

"What happens if I see them, and can't pull the trigger?" Daedric questioned. His voice trembled as he asked the question for the fear of what his father might reply with.

His father looked at his son, who could barely see over the table. His feet were dangling off the edge of the chair. Daedric took a bite of his eggs while he was waiting for his father's reply.

"Daedric, my son..I know exactly how you feel. When I was you age, many many moons ago" his father started, Daedric laughed as his father joked about his age. "I sat in the same spot and asked my father the same question. He told me," Daedric leaned forward to listen closer to his father. "The cycle of life has to come to a close. You're not harming the animal at all. It wont feel a thing honestly. Killing wolves is the purest form of hunt. You enter a world that allows you to do more. The soul of the wolf will embrace you. You will come out as a member of the wolf pack. Its a great honor Daedric"

The words didn't quite calm him he was still nervous about the entire thing.

What happens if I miss? What happens if I can't pull the trigger...

The thoughts echoed through him. He finished his breakfast and began to gather his things and started out with his father. The journey was a path they had to walk over, it would make them cross over 18 kilometers to get to the location. After that, it's a waiting game. It's not a guarantee that the wolf pack will be there.

On the fourth night of the hunt, Daedric and his father Zeal, were sitting around the fire that they had built,

"Son," Zeal started, "Have you thought about what you're going to do with your life?" he asked. Daedric looked up at his father, he had been cleaning his rifle at the time of the question.

"Not really..." Daedric answered.

"You need to start." His father replied back. Zeal snapped his head to the left, where the stream was flowing. "Daedric.." his father stated in a whispering tone.

"I heard it." He answered. Both of the slowly crouched to the ground and peaked over the rocks that had surrounded them. To there amazement, three wolves stood there. Looked as if there were all males but it was too dark and difficult to make out the gender. One stood about 4 feet tall. He was the first to drink. He had a solid white coat of fur that seemed to be blemish free. You could see the muscles move as he put his head down to drink the crystal blue flowing water. The other 2 stood back, who stood approximately 3 1/2 feet tall. Both of them were grey and white, not nearly as big as the first. They would sniff the ground as if they smelt something and the lift there head up to listen to the wind.

Daedric crawled across the plain of land about ten or so meters out so that he could lay and take aim. He planned to shoot the Alpha. The 7 year old was acting as if he was far older that he actually was. The bravery that was being displayed was surprising to his father, given the conversation that had taken place on few days prior. Daedric raised his rifle, and took aim at what he believed was the Alpha male.

I've got to do this, the Alpha is mine. The soul of this animal is mine... he thought to him self as he placed the red dot on the heart of the beast. He breathed in, and breathed out. You could see the breath leave his body.

Relax, aim, vision..and squeeze.. As he thought that, he pulled the trigger. The bolt cut through the air on its path to the Alpha. The bolt struck dead in the beasts heart, a yelp cried out as he fell to the ground with a thump. The body lay there lifeless not moving except the occasional twitch.

I did it... he thought I actually did it...look at him... he stared at the lifeless corpse as the other wolves sniffed the Alpha. You could hear faint cries come from the two as they see there leader lay there. Daedric sat up so that he could gather a better look at what had just happened. He looked back at his father, to see a big smile coming across his face and a slight nod as acceptance. Daedric looked back at the kill he just preformed to watch the other 2 wolves walk away from what used to be there leader.

"Good job, my son. Lets go to him." His father stated as he approached. Daedric stood to walk with his father. His adrenaline was still pumping through his veins. Little Adun was so excited that he had completed such a task, a task that his father before him had completed too.

They arrived at the side of the Alpha Male, who lay in his own pool of blood. "Daedric, you surprised me even more still. Not many can kill an Alpha, but you, you have the spirit of the Great Hunters of our forefathers." His father reached down and placed the paw of the wolf in his blood. "From now on, you are the newest and youngest member of the Wolf Pack. A band of Warriors that show no fear." He continued. His father took the paw that was soaked in wolf blood and placed it over Daedric's heart, pressing it against him. The feeling of accomplishment and pride started to swell inside of Daedric.

"My son, You have Awoken the beast inside!"....

Escape from Tatooine

Year 14, Day 346...Daedric is sitting in a shadowy corner of an old muggy Cantina on Tatooine, the air is musky from the Death Sticks. The faint light of a data pad appears, illuminating his face slightly as he reads the message that was sent to him..

Securing up-link..... Lines of code start to run through the screen...most of them just random numbers and letters. Daedric looked up to see if anyone was watching him. No one noticed him. Across the room there was a sergeant in the New Republic Army, but he didn't even notice Daedric.

Up-link Secured......

Decrypting message....

Security Clearance -- Covert

Message from Legion Command // ISB

"You're behind lines, and need to get out" Daedric read

"We have set up something for you, a smuggler has dropped of a New Republic Uniform for you about 3 clicks north west of your current position. You need to make your way to that drop site." Daedric looked up to see a New Republic broadcast come across the network.

Agents on Tatooine report that there is a Galactic Empire officer among us. He is considered highly dangerous and armed. If you see any suspicious activity, locate your closest security detail and notify them. The broadcast continued to show pictures of hand drawn images, some that looked like him, but others that looked nothing like him. Daedric looked back down at the data-pad...

"They know you're there. Keep your head down and keep out of trouble. We have a ship in orbit, but can't descend because the New Republic has initiated a planetary shield. We have you on our screens. Big Brother is watching."

End Transmission...

Daedric locked his data-pad and put it in his bag. He looked around to make sure no body was watching him, or even noticed him. It was the same as before. Daedric stood and walked toward the door to exit in the the city. As he was walking to the door he ran into the Sergeant that was sitting across the room earlier.

"Excuse me, Sergeant I'm just taking my leave" He stated and he went to go around the Sergeant.

"Ah, its no problem, Citizen. I didn't see you there. Guess I had a little to much to drink..hey what say you? Care to have a drink?" The soldier asked and he was pointing back over to the bar.

"I really need to get going." Daedric replied as he was adjusting his bag strap on his shoulder. Daedric went to exit once again into the city. "Aw come on man, have a drink with a soldier" the Sergeant insisted. Daedric reluctantly agreed so that no unwanted attention would come his way. The two walked over to the bar and sat down and order there drinks. Daedric avoided making eye contact with the New Republic soldier.

"You know, not many people want to serve these days. The Galactic Empire has us cornered on many fronts. Have you heard? The Mercenary Guild has fallen under the Galactic Empire's control." The sergeant began to ramble about how the Empire's growing strength was concerning about. Daedric just listened to him. "What do you think about the damn Imps?" he asked.

Daedric looked at him, the guy had no clue that he was an Imperial Officer. He wanted to keep it that way. "I think they should be dealt with. Who knows how far there reach is going to go before everything falls. Some just want to watch the galaxy burn, I suppose." He replied back, "I really need to get going. I have a sick wife, that needs my attention." He stated.

"Well hey! I got a speeder outside, I'll take you to her no problem!" The Sergeant exlaimed. Great, this is all I need. A damn rebel taking me places.. he thought. "Sure, let me just use the latrine really quick and I'll meet you outside. Are you around back?" He asked. The sergeant nodded and left to head out to the speeder. Daedric quickly exited toward the latrine. Once there he locked him self in there, and reached for his data-pad.

"Lieutenant, have you made it to the site drop?" a shadowed, disfigured voice questioned.

"Not yet, Lieutenant Colonel, I've ran into a bit of an issue but it will be dealt with. Giving you a SIT-REP. I'm moving with a New Republic Sergeant to the drop site. I will update on further later. All resources are green at the moment. Adun Out."

Secured up-link terminated...

Daedric stowed his data-pad and reached for his blaster pistol. It was a pocket shooter, light and easy to handle. He had had it since he was just a young pup. He put the pistol is his shoulder holster and made his way to the awaiting speeder.

"Hey over here man!" He heard as he exited the Cantina. Adun looked to see the soldier flagging him down. Daedric jogged over and hopped in the passenger seat of the speeder, fastened his safety harness and motioned the direction that they needed to head. "How far out is your place?" he asked. "About 3 clicks north west." Daedric replied. "And you where going to walk that? Damn man don't you know that this heat can kill you?!"

"Yeah, I've seen it happen a couple times my self" Daedric replied.

"So what do people call you?" The Sergeant inquired.

"Most call me Wolf."

"Wolf? What in the-" he began to laugh "- where did you get a name like that? You aren't from this dust rock are you?"

"Not at all. I don't see how people live on this planet. There's nothing here. Why would you even settle a planet like this? Makes no sense to me" Daedric replied back with a slight chuckle. He was actually growing quite fond of the Sergeant, but he knew what he had to do.

"I understand that my self. I'm from Theed, Naboo. So you can just imagine what it's like for me being here..what's this?" He reached for the radio control on the dash board.

"This just in, yesterday Year 14 Day 345, Rather than fall in line with Galactic Empire's recent requests, Dbari III issued a release today announcing that they have formally accepted the more conciliatory terms of a planetary body, and have declared Galactic Empire a criminal organization on their planet."

"Hot damn another win for the Republic!!" The Sergeant exclaimed. By this time they were riding through the desert about a half a click away from the drop site. "Hey, Sergeant pull over really quick. I'm not feeling so well." Daedric requested.

"Aw man don't get sick in here, its brand new!" He stated as he brought the vehicle to a stop. Daedric got out and at the same time reached for the Vibro-Dagger that his grand-father had given him when we was just a young boy. He walked around the driver side watching the Sergeants every move. "Hey man you alright, you got a funny look on your face." he asked.. Daedric showed the Vibro-Dagger, "Hey man what are you going to-" Daedric lunged for him. Grabbing him by the forehead from behind and slamming the knife into his throat. "Argghhhh!!" the Sergeant screamed. Daedric held him there while he drifted off into the void.

"Go with the spirits, it'll all be better in a second." The body went limp and as Daedric removed him from the vehicle. You're with the spirits now...he thought..

Securing up-link...

Video up-link secured....now communicating with Legion Command...

"Well I wasn't expecting that.." the voice stated

"I know, it was my only option. I have acquired the clothing at the drop site. Making my way toward the rendezvous site. What are the cords?" he asked. The coordinates flashed on the screen. Daedric acknowledge them and terminated the up-link.

He looked around the desert to get his bearings. The heat was intense, and he could just feel himself becoming weaker and weaker by the moment. He was a frost-born kid. Those who loved the snow and ice and winter months back on his home world. He jumped in the speeder, which still had the blood and stench from what happened earlier. He set out for the rendezvous site. The desert wind was hitting him hard in the face, the sand was filling what felt like every crevasse he had on him. He looked over, to see his families sacred helmet shining in the desert light, before he stuffed it back in his bag. He arrived at the Star Port.Wearing his New Republic Officer's uniform, to find 4 armed guards, who were on patrol in the area. They snapped to attention as Daedric walked pasted them. Daedric returned there salute and nodded toward them.

"You gentlemen are doing a fine job. Continue." He stated as he walked past them. He began to pick up the pace and head to Dock 43, Bay 14 where the Star Speeder 3000 was docked. Upon arriving to Bay 14, he passed through the check point as they were scanning every bodies ID badges to make sure they were cleared to leave the planet. He provided his, the guardsmen looked at the badge and then back at Daedric.

"You look different." The guard stated.

"Look, Private. If you have been through, and seen have of the stuff that I have seen, you would look different too. Get out of my way!" Daedric yelled. A shock went across the guardsman's face. "Move. Now." He stated. The guardsman, who at this time looked as if he was about to pass out from fear, saluted him, and stepped aside. Daedric nodded and passed the guard to head to his shuttle.

Once in the shuttle he went to speak with the pilot.

"RX-465....take me home."

"Beep boop bop, beeeep......"
