Biography

Gentle Beginnings

James was born to a well off family in the Corellian High Rises as he lived care free and under the protection of the Empire. He attended the Lasington Imperial Center in his youth and could often be found leading the other children in efforts to harass the miscreants who defied Imperial Plazas with begging and lies against the great Emperor.

He was sixteen years old when he and his best friend and Lieutenant Ian Briggs attended the luxurious Regional Ball. They spent the majority of the time sharing stories of the many adventures spent on Corellia together. In between garbles of words and plights of adventure, James looked to who he would later know as Ava Kingly. After several moments of assistance from Ian and a tense battle of chilling ice breakers, the two grew close over the night with complements paid to his boldness through the evening. He returned the favor.

It was several months after the ball, James was engaged to Ava and they had plans to Wed shortly after. Though Ava never agreed with his methods, she remained with him until the ploy on his life a mere two weeks after their engagement. A Torsky Playvol was the son of a man James' group had executed with the ISB years prior. With a third rate blaster he fired four shots at James' speeder before he could return the favor. Ava who was with him at the time was shot three of the four times indirectly, mortally wounding her. He had never quiet recovered since then and transferred control of his unit to Ian, who with the help of the ISB, avenged Ava.

James had spent most of his seventeenth year isolated in his apartment flat, his family and friends would visit every so often but it never really helped him in the way he needed. Blood for blood was the only thought that he could summarize, but he knew that Ava would not agree to such conditions. His father finally got through to him near his eighteenth year and he had begun to learn how to pilot Corellian Starfighters. He distracted himself from the loss of his fiance by practicing more and more each day until he plotted a plan to avenge his wife in his own way.

Taking to the skies, James decided that he could best embrace his wife's views on his duty to the people by joining the Imperial Navy. No matter where he goes or how hard he falls, James' determination to climb the ranks comes from love and suffering.

Eyes of Corellia

In year 10 James, Ian Briggs, Mark Haswells, and Ethan Rayase assembled 42 children from their learning center with the intent of "extra curricular lessons of imperial servitude". They would gather in small groups of 6-7 or large groups of 12-14 to "clean" the streets of the beggars. They would help the security forces on Corellia "migrate" the beggars to the middle class districts before tearing down the metal shacks the beggars had constructed in the ally ways. Personal effects and valuable items were turned into the Corellian Government for processing. The upper class citizens enjoyed Jame's efforts and had praised his group to the local Governor.

James and his friends group took on the name of James' Patrons and they continued to police the streets while collaborating with the local authorities. His group began to act as the ears of the ISB agents within the upper districts during the revolts as they continued to route out the criminal scum. His group was recognized for their efforts by a Regional Under Secretary and they were awarded for their actions with an invitation to the Regional Ball.

Ava and James fought often over his operations against the criminal cells and he began to see her ways after many disagreements. He began to wind down his operations in the districts and reserved his efforts only to cooperation efforts with the ISB. Now with more reform, his compatriots became known as the Eyes of Corellia and they had expanded their territory to the inners of the underground.
