Early Life

Verun Braitano was born on Kiffex in Ven Karya Sunport. Her father, Thomas Braitano, was a galactically known surgeon, specializing in cybernetic limb transplants, while her mother, Catherine Braitano, was modest midwife. Thomas believed science and technology was the way to a healthy lifestyle and Catherine believe that naturally provided herbal remedies was the best cure for any ailment, the only medically thing that they did agree on was that every living creature deserved care. Together they created a local medical center that provided exceptional aid to wounded mercenaries passing through.

Growing up with such prestigious parents, Verun mastered medical treatment at a young age. By the age of 16, she could sooth a spice withdrawl with herbs from her mother and flawlessly replace a blown off leg with her father. Her brother, David, however was not as gifted. His talents were quite opposite to the rest of the family and he became a Mercenary at age 17.

In the middle of winter, Verun's life was devastated. The Rebel Alliance had received false intelligence stating that the Imperial Security Bureau had a secret base on Kiffex, and without investigation, they sent squadrons of B-wing fighters and X-wings to flatten the marketplace. The attack incinerated the local clinic where her family was, killing them all instantly. Fortunately for Verun, she was off in the mountains locating medicinal herbs when the assault occurred.

Orphaned, and all alone, she made the decision to join the Galactic Empire for some justice. A few months later, she was admitted into the Imperial Academy on Prakith where she went to begin her training. The academy was filled with technological advancements that she had never witnessed, but had heard from her father from his days on Coruscant. She was impressed with the architectural marvels. Realizing that her former self was simple a whisp in comparison, she reinvented herself.

Cutting her blonde hair, dying it a dark color, and changing her wardrobe, Verun Braitano ceased to exist. The young timid girl who joined the Imperial Academy, was replaced by Lilith Crowley, a strong confident woman.
