Mentu Larzen was born on Thyferra some 20 plus years ago. During his childhood, his family relocated to serve on a traveling Medical Frigate called the ''Rejuvenation''. Mentu grew up on the ship, traveling the stars and watching as the medical staff would aid under developed worlds. His father was a first responder, and his mother was a navigator on the Rejuvenation. Mentu was trained in medicine when he was a teenager, and helped his father attend to those sick and wounded. Among his interests were the various starships that came and went. He dreamed of being a pilot. Eventually, he became the pilot of a Sprint medical transport, and served there for years. Very recently, the ''Rejuvenation'' was attacked over an uncharted world. It was shot down by pirates, and Mentu miraculously was the sole survivor. He traveled the desert wastes of the planet until he found civilization, and began working for the local Mayor until he had enough credits to get a ship off world. He promptly visited the nearest Imperial system, and enlisted into the Imperial Academy. He hopes to become a pilot, and help bring order to the stars.
