Osira Sterling (born Year -5, Day 108) is a Kiffar female from Coruscant, currently serving as a Recruit with the Imperial Academy.

Early Life

Born in Year -5, Day 108, Osira was the daughter of a mixed heritage family. Her mother Ari Ko a Kiffar and father Garik Sterling a Coruscanti native. Osira was raised and grew poor, her father’s lack of marketable skills and sobriety were not the best mix for a nuclear family attempting to get by on the sprawling Galactic capital.

Despite her father’s misfortunes, Osira’s mother did her best with what little there was. Trained in the etiquette necessary for survival from a young age, Osira was proper and prim for one outside her station in life. Osira found solace in education and school, reveling in the time away from her lowly home and combative arguments over credits.

Osira was a social butterfly, making friends and charming her enemies. Not a genius nor a neanderthal, Osira thrived under Imperial Education and found herself always wanting more than what she suffered with back home.

When she came of age, Osira found herself heavily influenced by the instruction of one teacher in particular. A hulk of a man with a gruff, crusty exterior that she had managed to work her way into his heart. A former Major in the Imperial Army, he filled her head with tales of adventure and bravery. The more he spoke of his escapades, the more Osira envisioned it a life for herself and a way to escape her personal family’s failings.

Her father hated the very idea of it and barred her from joining the Imperial armed forces outright. For years following school, she heeded his command out of some misplaced respect for him until the suffering could no longer be bared. Osira abandoned her mother and father and joined the Empire with the dream of helping those who grew up like she and in the process, make a better life for herself.

Military Career

Osira began her Military career at the age of 23, older than most recruits who found the calling. Once stationed, her training officer was Lieutenant Junior Grade Faraday Euler.

Personality & Traits

Famous for her quick wit and sharp tongue, Osira is a spitfire in the truest sense of the word. What she lacks in rank and social status, she compensates for with her ability to charm a room. Osira will go above and beyond to make others comfortable in her company, but if one were to cross her, she would spare no quarter in making quick work of their ego.
