Razgriz was found in Malachor V's field of asteroids and destroyed ships. A researching craft from the Galactic Empire was in the area when they started picking up a corrupted distress signal from at first thought was a ship unsuspected ship that got caught in the path of an asteroid, but when the team began to hone in on the signal what they found was a partially intact Venator class Star Destroyer. Bridge completely destroyed, most of the starboard side in ruins, and one it's top hanger doors malfunctioning to open. When the research team boarded the ship they saw the place in shambles but what surprised them was the amount of different types of dead uniformed soldiers were aboard the ship. When searching the rest of the ship they found hibernation tanks and in one of the tanks is where they found Razgriz in black armor with golden trim. Razgriz Avox stands at 182cm and disclosed weight of 195lbs. He was found in a drifting capital ship wreckage and his homeworld is unknown but is suggested he was born from Corellia from the blood samples collected. Shortly after Avox's recovery from the wreckage he joined the Imperial Navy.

When Razgriz was finally awakened he was asked by the research team, "What happen to your ship?" "What affiliation are you in?" and "Where did you come from?" Razgriz didn't have the slightest clue what they were talking about. They then decided to ask his name a simple question that they knew because of his name printed on his chest, he also didn't know what he was called either. After he was informed what his name was and how they found him the only thing he could finally understand that his name was 'Razgriz Avox'.
Upon returning to Coruscant Razgriz was detained by Imperial authorities and questioned for being in Malachor, when they couldn't get any answers from Razgriz they released him the same day. With no memory of his homeworld or of any family and friends, he went to a local recruiting station for the Empire and joined the Imperial Navy.
Personal Possessions
Razgriz's most valuable possession is the YT-1300 "Grizzly".
Though the "Grizzly" hasn't been with him long it has been his number one choice of transportation, not to mention a gift from a good friend.
