Riles is a Private First Class in the Imperial Army of the 3rd Legion, or the Shadow Guard. He currently serves as a scout trooper and is under the command of CO Marcus Aurelius and XO Hawke Truden. Previous CO was Bacara Kex. He serves proudly and hopes to continue his service and fight with honor. Riles does not want to be a leader for he is not ready for any of that and only wants to be commanded.

Biography

Life as a Kid

Born on Corellia and raised by his parents, Kaitie Cassady and David Cole, he quickly learned life can be tough. Riles had a hard life growing up, there was a drought, and the crops couldn't grow on Riles family farm. His family was plunged into poverty for the next year until the drought was over. He went back to school after farming once he was ten. Riles excelled in all of his courses, but struggled as the years went by. Once twelve years old, Riles started back up on the farm to help his parents that were in need to grow their crops. He built up muscle mass helping on the farm and keeping animals off the property.

Riles Teen Years

At age thirteen, Riles thought he was ready to attend school again and finish his courses. Rarely helping on the farm, his school work became the number one priority. Upon graduation at 15, he was working as a Mercenary for the Rebel Alliance, discovering that it was wrong on what they were doing he became a freelancer shifting over back to Corellia for a family. At age eighteen, Riles was married to Jessica and had two kids, Paige & Mike, at 20. A pirate raid swept over their home town when both were just a few months old. Everyone died while Riles tried to defend his family. He obtained a scar from the fight running across his face. He moved onto the Empire seeing that nothing was left and he was plunged into darkness.

Service Information

Growing up in the Empire

Riles became a Scout Trooper after going through special training. He enlisted for the special forces hoping that his good eye sight and good hearing would aid him in the service. He became faster and even stronger when he went through basic training then special forces training. He felt glad to put on his visor every morning and after meals to hide his expressions from his face and the scar telling the whole story. He quickly became really good when riding on a speeder bike. To hide his last name from other strangers and unwanted people, he changed it up a bit to LaCole.

Regular Information

Riles has problems making friends. For many people have betrayed him and others usually die in battles. He's already lost his parents for they're old age. Except for his dad. He believes his dad is missing. Riles thinks his dad joined the Rebel Alliance and used his age as a exception to show he died of that. Again, his dad has showed betrayal to him. Riles doesn't want to make anymore friends in fear of both of which may happen.

Rising through the Ranks

When Riles joined up for the Empire, he enrolled into the Academy. He studied hard and went through his test. After completing his test he signed up for the Imperial Army. He went through basic training. Practicing on obstacle courses and weapons training. He trained with the E-11 and the E-11B blaster rifles. After completing basic, he became a Private. Figuring his good eyesight and hearing could help him, he went into special forces training. He then trained to be a biker scout and worked with the hold-out scout trooper blaster pistol and 74-Z speeder bike. After completing special training he became a Private First Class (PFC). Riles has been working as hard as he could and hopes for the best. He knows he's not the best leader and hopes he doesn't become one, he wants to be commanded and ordered around still.

Weapons Used

Riles has trained with many weapons. When in Basic, he trained with the E-11, E-11B, E-Web Heavy Repeating Blaster, and the SE-14C Blaster Pistol. As of going into Special Forces, he trained with the DC-15x Sniper Rifle, and the Hold-out Scout Trooper Blaster Pistol. He has also trained with an AT-ST and a 74-Z Speeder Bike.

Armor Phases

Riles has three armor sets. For formal or parade situations, he also has a Imperial dress uniform.

1. His most commonly used set is his Scout Trooper Phase II armor. It supports a Electromagnetic Vision Enhancement Visor for infrared, night-vision, x-ray, and regular vision. It gives a good view to the viewers left, right, center, bottom, and partially top to see through. It has a Boosted Comlink System for long-range messages perfect for scouts. The suit also has two ration packs and two ammo canister packs. It has a filtering system for breathing in poisonous environments that regulates air and a temperature heater and colour depending on the environment the user of the suit is in. -Light Blaster Energy. -Heat/Cooling Energy. -Kinetic. -Piercing/Slashing. -Poison.

2. His second most used armor is his Commando Phase II armor. It supports a Electromagnetic Vision Visor for infrared, night-vision, and regular vision. It gives a good view to the viewers left, right, center, bottom, and partially top to see through. It was a Phase I oval shaped short-range jet pack for small jumps. It has a Medium Range Comlink and a Private one for other commandos or secured networks. They're on the helmet and the left shoulder peace. The suit also contained four ammo packs, two ration packs, one holster, and a utility belt. -Heavy Blaster Energy. -Heat/Cooling Energy. -Kinetic. -Sonic. -Electric -Piercing/Slashing. -Poison.

3. The third armor Riles wore was his Mandalorian set from his dad. He rarely wore the armor, but thought of it as a tradition. Riles Cole's Mandalorian helmet recorded video and played it back on command, dispensed water, compensated automatically for low or high light condition. Riles could control weapons, sensors, and his jet pack with verbal commands. His helmet's HUD (heads-up-display) featured information on the surrounding environment as well as a 360-degree field of vision. The HUD's data streams could be controlled by eye movements and blinking. In addition, an advanced penetrating radar allowed his HUD to provide information on nearby rooms, and could be used to scan the HoloNet and connect with databases, allowing him to perform tasks which would normally require a computer terminal, such as searching databases for individuals or even trading on the stock market and buying real estate, from anywhere that was accessible through the HoloNet. The macro-binocular view plate could be magnified to allow Riles to see great distances, and was equipped with, among other things, an infrared scanner that could be magnified up to 50 times. The infrared scanner magnified light up to 100 times or displayed heat gradations. The helmet's broad band antenna was capable of intercepting and unscrambling comlink and starship comm transmissions. At the top of the antenna was a rangefinder capable of tracking up to 30 targets from a distance of 100 meters. The rangefinder fed data to a display overlay inside the helmet showing range and movement for targets in a 360 degree radius. The overlay also linked to Riles weapons systems to display fire vector and range data. The battle/flight suit had pockets on his shins which contained an anti-security blade, a survival knife, a jet-pack adjustment tool, and a sonic-beam weapon. Riles wore spats around his ankles to help prevent debris from going into his boots. They were smaller than standard spats, were made of a light colored cloth and attached behind the ankle as opposed to under the boot. Riles wore a power armor liner. This liner shirt had a micro energy field projector and two layers of thin ceramic plates, in order to disperse physical and blast impacts, reducing injuries and likelihood of knockdowns. The power liner also gave him increased protection from fire, acid, intense heat, and cold. His main clothing was a reinforced armor mesh battle/flight suit. The inner lining of the suit blocked poisons and corrosives for a period of time. Before Life, Family Beginnings

David Cole

David Cole as a country boy. Growing up on Mandalore were his father was a bounty hunter, he learned the ways of Mando life. He grew up fast while his fist got hard and his wisk got keen. By age six, he was already hunting on bounty missions with his father to be trained as a Mando. He learned quick and studied hard. When he became ten years old, he already started on his Mandalorian armor. David finished his armor and ceremonies by age fourteen and moved on up to his own missions. After another year, his father came back from a bounty hunt seriously injured. Mandolore had few hospitals and not one of them was near. His father died shortly after in his home. David's mom took him away from Mandalore at age nineteen for they both didn't like the way of culture it became anymore. On Corellia, he met Kaitie, his future wife.

Kaitie Cassady

Kaitie Cassady grew up on Corellia with only her mother. Her dad left her before she was born finding out that her mother was pregnant. Her father left her and her mother by the selves. She worked hard trying to keep up and support her family. Already growing up at age ten, she had little education but was into history. She loved studying the clone wars and the old republic. She kept studying until she was old enough to move out of the house. She lived in Corellia still visiting her mother often, she found a nice place. When going to a taxi service one day, she found her future husband, David.

Start of the Cole Family

Both Kaitie and David married when Kaitie was twenty and David was twenty-one years old. They lived a life on a farm peacefully. After about 10 years, they had a son. Riles was born very strong and healthy from the Mando gene. Once Riles moved out of the house and onto his life, just a few years later, Kaitie and David died of old age. Although, David is presumed missing and joined the Rebel Alliance, it is uncertain whether his death and burial was faked or mistaken by someone else. The truth is unknown and Riles is trying to find out the real truth for betral and hate burns in him for his family letting him go like this.

Riles still met Jess on Corellia and married her when they were eighteen years old. They moved into a small town and lived there for two years until they had Mike and Paige. They nurtured the kids, and Riles took off here and there from his mining job and he stopped his rare mercenary hunts. Riles and Jess took care of they kids for a few months until the city alarm went up. Only the few cities militants went out to defend the town and Riles and Jess along with the kids went down to the cities safety bunker. Only a few hours later pirates and mercenaries ended bursting through and killing anyone in sight. Riles tried to defend Jess and the kids from the attack but couldn't make it. He was hit by a vibroblade across the face, and presumed dead. He was in a coma and losing lots of blood.

A day later, a recon team from the Empire investigated the sight. They found he was alive and put him in a bacta on their gunboat back to their base. Riles woke up in a week with his face healed, but a scar to remain there and buried underneath his feelings about his family. He came close to dieing, the vibroblade almost hit his juggler. He decided to enlist for the Empire once they got back to the base. It seemed as if he had nothing, but he'll soon learn and find out his family secrets and the true history.

Culture

Family Gene

Riles became very strong because of the Mando gene was in him. David and the Cole family carried the Mando gene giving Riles a good survival ability and a great amount of strength upon being bored and being able to earn it easy. The Corellian gene gave the Cole family and Riles the will to work and finish things. Corellians are known to work very hard giving Riles lots of will and adding onto his strength to work with something and finish it. Anything that gets in the way could be passed and worked through with lots of Corellians.

Life

Riles enjoys hard work, and loved it on the farm. He also likes hand-to-hand combat or melee. He tries to train it into other scouts seeing that they're not used to it since they expect to be away from the enemy. He hopes they'll learn someday. He also likes to follow his Mando culture. It gave him good strength, but he's still trying to learn the language.

Hobbies

Height - Riles stands at 6'4" which is rather tall. Musclebuild - Riles has high muscle build from his Mando trials and after years of training. Eye/Hair Color - Riles has dark brown hair and eyes. Facial Features - Scar running down side of face from pirate engagement. Medical History - Fit and ready to fight, has lots of flash backs though which may cause hesitation.
