Golgo Diasto is a six foot Hapan with sharp blue eyes, and dark brown hair. He is very open in his opinion of what he feel is right and wrong. His boyish charm and sharp tongue usually get him into trouble and it is a common misconception to think that he has no knowledge of the universe around him. Although he has much to learn, he is very wise and knows more than he lets on.

Early Life

Golgo was born to a prominent Hapan mother and a working father. As with all Hapan males, Golgo's father, Milo, was not allowed to hold office or any high position. As such he usually spent his days tending to the whims of his mother and her friends. Although Golgo was raised in this society as well, he frequently mingled with the traders and pilots from other planets who came to visit his mother. By the time he was five he had already attempted to fly off planet three times. With each failure, came the wrath and shame of his mother, and a sad look on his father's face. He would attempt to escape over two dozen more times before he was twelve.

Becoming a Man

At age twelve his mother was finished with him. In the dead of night she arranged for him to be murdered by a bounty hunter named Fetal Diasto. Although no one knows the exact reasons why, Fetal never killed the boy. Instead she alluded to his dead by leaving a bit of his blood behind on the bed and taking him with her. The payment was sent via remote transfer to her account. Mission accomplished. Not only had she gained over a million credits, she gained an apprentice. Taking Golgo in she had his last name changed to hers, and his fingerprints removed. Golgo Secruze was dead and Golgo Diasto was born anew. Over the next eight years she would train him how to lead, kill, and fly. While Fetal preferred freighters and firearms, Golgo showed a particular skill in swords and larger vessels. He was the only person she knew that could take a large ship and dodge planetary cannons with ease. By the time he was twenty, he had flown her personal YV-666 thousands of times, carrying whatever the bounty would be to its destination.

Imperial Duty

When he was twenty-two years of age, Golgo was apprehended by an Imperial patrol. This was not due to his own error, but part of a much larger plan. Fetal Diasto had been captured while trying bring in a rebel commander, and in the process was deemed a conspirator with the rebellion. The woman who saved him from execution for the mere wish of wanting freedom, being sentenced to die for enjoying hers was more than he could bear. After entering Imperial borders he was quickly caught and brought aboard the same Imperial Star Destroyer that Fetal was on, all according to plan. It took a couple nights, but he figured out which cell she was on, and within hours had broken his way out his own and, with the exception of her guard, was not seen by a single soul. As they began to sneak away an alarm sounded. Someone found the guards body. They ran for the hangar, but as they arrived they were confronted by a dozen storm troopers armed to the teeth and the captain of the vessel. "I am impressed your apprentice made it this far Fetal, you trained him well." Confused, Golgo looked from the Fetal to the captain and back again. Seeing his puzzled look she explained, "I have a running contract with the Galactic Empire. They provide me with the hardest and most rewarding bounties, and in return I train them someone to be the best of the best. You really are the best I have ever trained." "That remains to be seen," the captain remarked. Owing this woman his life he sighed and said, "Then I will show you captain, just how capable I am." After a quick good bye, he was whisked off to a shuttle bound for the Imperial Academy.

Present Day

After arriving at the Imperial Academy, Golgo listened to all of his lectures and excelled in all of his classes. By the end he graduated just short of honors and was given the rank of Crewman in the Imperial Navy, although after spending a short amount of time there, he felt his calling else where and transferred to the Imperial Army, where he battles the Empire's foes face to face. Today he serves diligantly in the name of Fetal Diasto and the Emperor. His signature quote is one he came up with as a child, in response to the sometimes cruel ways that men were treated on Hapes, "Rise and Rise again, until Lambs become Lions."
