Childhood

Kagato was born to Amame Masaki Sakurazuka and Kazuki Yotsuga, a Police Officer. Amame left Corellia and was shun from the Sakurazuka family to be with Kazuki. However, she would not be allowed to return to Corellia and any offspring she had would not be allowed to return as a member of the Sakurazuka family.

Sometime after Kagato was born his grandfather, Richard Blaine Sakurazuka, took an interest in the young boy when Kagato turned eight, Richard decided to pay Amame and Kazuki a visit. Richard wanted to take Kagato back to Corellia and have him brought back into the Sakurazuka family again. Young Kagato wanted nothing to do with Richard or his plans to return with him to Corellia, even though his parents encouraged it. He didn't want to be parted from his parents and hated the fact that his mother would not be allowed to return.

However, Richard enjoyed a challenge and would not give up. Amame predicted to Kazuki that Richard would eventually get his way by leading Kagato to say he wants to come to Corellia and rejoin the family. For two years, Richard worked on Kagato by visiting him as often as he could, becoming like a 2nd father to Kagato much to the chagrin of his father Kazuki. By doing this, Richard had worked his way into Kagato's heart without him even realizing it.

Things seem to be some what peaceful with Kagato and his family ((other then the fact that his grandfather kept bugging him about rejoining the Sakurazuka family)) Kagato would try his best to avoid his home and walk around the small town the one thing he seem to enjoy the most was siting on top of a mountain which over look the beautiful forest of the planet, he quite enjoy it when the wind blew and gave him the sensation of flying. Tho sadly the beauty and the peacefulness of the planet would not last. It was a full-scale invasion of their colony by a group of pirates that changed everything. Kagato's parents took command of the defenses of the heavily outnumbered colonists. The 10 year old Kagato was in the rear of the colony but additional pirate forces attacked the rear and he was the only one standing in their way. His mother Amame had trained Kagato in martial arts and arm combat, so even though he was only 10 years old, he was no ordinary boy. Despite his training Kagato could not hold his ground and was stab in his right eye, before blacking out he could see what look like a image of his grandfather running towards him blaster in hand. Kagato awoke in a hospital with his grandfather sitting next to him he was told that his parents were killed during the attack he also found out that his grandfather Richard had saved him from getting killed. After some time of healing at the hospital Kagato willingly went with Richard to Corellia without his grandfather having to force him.

Training & Schooling

For the next three years Kagato begin to train under the teaching of his grandfather. Learning all about the Sakurazuka's history, fighting, etiquette and much to Kagato demise dance class. While he did not mind the hard work and training, the dance classes were not to his liking. (he thought it was a waist of time to learn and that he would never use this lesson any time in his life). Kagato would often attempted to run away from his grandfather rather than attend the class. Unknown to his grandson Richard Sakurazuka used Kagato flight from class as additional training.

It was around this time that Kagato discoverer his interest in ship's and flying. When he would avoid dance class he would find his way to the hanger bay and learn as much as he could about the ship's and how to pilot one. This was the only thing that seem to bring the young boy some peace at mind. Eventual he became pretty good at understanding how to work and fix the ship's.

Once Kagato training progress his grandfather enrolled him into a religious boarding schools. Believing that his grandson training was not truly complete until he learn about the family religion and beliefs. Kagato spent the next five years here learning and studying, tho Kagato study and became top of his class he did not believe in the Sakurazuka's religion. Claiming that it "Was not meat for him, and what he believed in."

His instructor and the head of the boarding school recognize this right from the start, try as they might they could not truly convert Kagato to there way's. Kagato would find there frustration amusing and would continue to frustrate them more by making comments or just not caring about there beliefs. Enrico Maxwell the head of the boarding school would constantly see young Kagato in his office for numerous things he try his best to be patient with Kagato but eventually he to found it to be a lost cause. After 5 long years for Kagato and 5 long annoying years for the staff members of the boarding school. Kagato continue his education and he received good grades, he was able to graduate everyone was please to see him go including Kagato himself.

Begining of an Adventure, Grandfather's Training Continued?

Finely "free" from the school Kagato had a strong will to go explore the galaxy and to see what kind of "trouble" he might get into. Upon explaining this to his grandfather that he wanted to leave, he was told that it was common for members of the Sakurazuka family to want to explore and that it was called a "Warrior Journey" With his mind set Kagato pack a few things and bought himself a ship. He would leave Corellia on a new journey of exploration.

It was only a couple of year's out in space and Kagato have join up with a group of people who did odd jobs for credits, and when they feel the need would cause some sort of trouble in a bar. Kagato never felt so free being away from being controlled by his grandfather or having people tell him what he should believe in, the only thing they had to worry about was his friends, there next job, how long they were going to be arrested next time around. Unknown to Kagato his grandfather still had some "training lessons" for his grandson even from Corellia.

One day they received a job, it seem simple enough go to the system and pick up some requested items and head back. Kagato took up the job and once he enter the system everything seem to be all right until a pirate ship came out of hyperspace and begin to attack Kagato ship, he black out. When Kagato awoke he was on board the pirate ship chain up awaiting his captor as he try to struggle out of his chains a beautiful girl came into view she stated that she was the captain of the pirate ship and he is now her prisoner. Kagato shock at the fact that it was a beautiful girl who caught him, not able to say any thing to the fact that he had been captured.

It was two day's before Kagato was able to get free from the cell, some how managing to steal a ship and was able to get away with out getting blown into vapor dust. Kagato manage to land or rather crash on a near by planet leaving the stolen ship in the swamp and staggering into town where he was taken to a hospital to treat his injury's. Kagato stay here for a few week's before they decided to let him go with no transport with no way to get off this planet he had no idea on what to do, he knew it would be a mater of time before he was found by his captor.

Someone did find Kagato but it wasn't who he thought it would be, an old friend of his from Corellia Fuuma Monou, stood waiting for the young Kagato smiling with amusement as he watch his friend shock/confuse look. Fuuma told Kagato that he was there to give him a ride back to where ever he needed to go, when Kagato ask how Fumma knew he was there his friend smile stating "You're grandfather told me to come here. Said that you might need some help. Seems you might be distracted by a nice looking pirate." upon hearing this Kagato be came infuriated knowing who set up the pirate attack and that it was part of his grandfather training. Furious Kagato left with Fuuma there destination Corellia.

When the two arrive at Corellia Richard, was there waiting for them. It had been a few years since the two seen each other but it was clear to Kagato that his grandfather was getting older and look a bit sickly. While Richard was glad to see his grandson Kagato was still furious at the elder meddling with his life with all his strength the young 20 year old through the first punch knocking the other down Kagato made it very clear that he didn't want his grandfather controlling or determining his life in any way. Kagato ignore the hurt look that he saw in his grandfather eye's as the elder Sakurazuka agreed, Kagato left Corellia once again to travel the galaxy.

Grate loss, a never ending insanity

Two year's pass and Kagato continue to work with his friends in finding odd jobs and getting in trouble. As they did Kagato begin to notice some vision problem with his right eye, he knew that by loosing his sight in the eye his left eye would haft to compensate for it as it did he would eventually lose his sight all together. Knowing this Kagato decided that it was time to leave his friends and get his right eye fix before it was to late he also knew that if he did find someone to operate that there was still a possibility that it would not work and he would lose his site in that eye.

It took Kagato several months to find a doctor who was willing to proceed with the operation Kagato would haft to wait a few weeks in order for his eye to heal and to see if it was a success. During the few months Richard Sakurazuka became gravely ill and had pass away, word finely reach Kagato at the hospital about his grandfather death the news took it's toll on the young man. With out thinking and in rage Kagato begin to trash the room he was in screaming at anyone and yet at no one, yelling out his grandfather name and asking what he himself had done. It was clear that the young Sakurazuka was not only distraught over what he had done a few years back but had clearly lost his grasp on reality, with on other choice the doctors had to sedated Kagato and took him to a place where he would be protected not only from himself but from others.

Kagato was place into the asylum under observation, it seems as the months pass his condition and sanity became worse.
