Born in a small village in the mountains of Shili, Onru Kayy lived a simple life, his only dream was to fly in open space, when he was 15 he joined the Shili air defence squadron the "Death Gods" as his father did before him, after a "not so good" carrer in the defence squad he joined a Bulk Freighter transport organization. One day Onru was about to get a fast transport to another system near Shili, just seconds after he left the atmosphere his cargo group was attacked by a few squadrons of Eidola fighters, almost all of the group has been defeated and boarded, only Onru and his brother Nii managed to run away to a safe distance, Nii went into hyper...but Onru couldnt. The hyper motivator was destroyed. The Eidolans quickly came close to the Bulk and boarded his ship. Onruu and his crew killed some of the pirate troops but there were too much of them and Onru was taken hostage. After a few months he and some of the crew members were released.

Back on Shili, Onru realised his parents, his house and whole of his hometown were demolished by pirate raides, the rulling government didnt even try to help the small defenceless town. That was the trigger. Onru established a classified organization called the "Crimson Sun", a place for every enemy of the New Republic. Based on intelligence, infiltration, kidnapping, murders and stealing good of every NR affiliated sentient they could get in theyr hands. Then he took the name Shi and set his previous name Onru into his surname.

Setting his first base of intel in a transport faction helped him make a lot of contacts with the NR clients and from most of the governments all across the galaxy. After meeting some NR officials in person and safely transporting them from place to place he made a very trustworthy vision of him. Shi then went elsewhere, with the connections he made, he was sure to succeed.

After a few days of setting his spies into several factions he got a call from a Togruta affiliated with the NR. A new based faction, producing ships, mostly freighters. Shi made good friends with the factions leadership and used it to become the Logistics Direcor, giving the other seats to his two spies he managed to take control over the whole faction fleet and the main stations, docks and everything. With his battle droid army he secured a space station in deep space in Calaron sector to keep a close eye on the faction. Most of the details of the factions dissolvement are classified. The only sure thing is that the leaders ship was sabotaged and crashed into the systems sun.
