Mick Clarence is a Commander in the Imperial Navy.

Mick Clarence was born on Day 6 of Year -23 in the slums district on Corellia, he never knew his parents as they were killed in a terrorist attack when he was 2 years old and all he had were distant memories of them. He was raised through his formative years at a state run orphanage, Mick was always deemed as a bright child but easily distracted, each year he'd manage to pass exams but always with the added comment 'could do better if he concentrated' from his teachers.

In his teenage years Mick developed a fascination with swoop bikes and speed, after several months of saving his allowances he bought his first swoop bike, a second hand and battered swoop bike which in the following few months after he spend hours restoring it to look like it had just come off the production line. This was the start of Mick's run ins with local authorities, always in trouble over speeding and reckless driving, but through the next few years til he turned 18 Mick had developed sensational skills at driving at high speed.

Eventually the local authorities got tired of Mick's lawless speeding, and giving him warning after warning, and so arrested Mick and gave him a choice of a prison term of four years in jail or join the Corellian security services. So Mick enlisted in the security services.

Mick spent 15 years in the Corellian security services, and though rising in rank throughout always stayed as a pilot flying atmosphere patrols and gained knowledge on many a one man starfighter class vessels. A senior officer one day suggested that Mick enrolled in the Imperial Navy.

Mick enrolled in the Imperial Academy on Day 295 of Year 10 passed his exams and joined the Imperial Navy. Mick was happy and enjoying his new Imperial life for almost a year, then a problem he had in his past can back to haunt him, distraction. Coupled with heavy drinking of alcohol Mick made the mistake of leaving the Galactic Empire without notifying his superiors.

Two months passed as Mick worked for a small faction ferrying materials in a not to well maintained battered freighter. In these two months Mick managed to get himself off the booze and stay sober, and with staying sober Mick could now think clearly. He knew he'd made a mistake leaving the Galactic Empire and applied to rejoin them.

After long consideration the Galactic Empire accepted Mick's application to rejoin. Now with a clear mind and no distractions Mick is rebuilding his career in the Imperial Navy.

After a short involvement with other imperial activities Mick Clarence as returned to serving in the Imperial navy.

Mick Clarence is a member of the "Wraith squadron" one of the advanced starfighter squadrons in the Imperial Navy. Named after a bird of prey from Corellia renowned for it speed, precision and viciousness.

All the pilots of Wraith squadron can easily and quickly adapt to any starfighter craft with exceptional skill in fighter tactics. The Wraith squadron's reputation has begun to grow within the Fleet.
