Malachi Forfax is a Coruscant born human. He is currently a prospective recruit in the prestigious Imperial Academy.

Early Life

Born to Lushian and Wylo Forfax on Year 3 Day 204 on the Imperial capital planet of Coruscant, Malachi was brought into a world immersed in the Imperial lifestyle. His family held a modest status, with his father working as a low-ranking bureaucrat and his mother as a nurse at a local hospital. Growing up, Malachi witnessed the stark contrast between the elite and the working class on Coruscant. His parents' long hours planted the seeds of a hardworking personality within him.

Education

Malachi attended a middling Imperial school, not particularly known for producing graduates with long and successful careers. He struggled with his grades early on, as his parents had little time to help him study. However, he developed a keen interest in military history, fueled by the many stories his father told him of great battles fought by genius Imperial Admirals. As he grew older and approached the end of his schooling, Malachi began to study Imperial fleet battles and the tactics of great Admirals, developing a strong ambition to join the Imperial Navy and pilot his own ship one day. This ambition often led to conflict with his parents, who, despite having instilled a love for Imperial history in him, feared the dangers of a life in the Navy. They preferred that he pursue a safer government job, similar to their own. Nevertheless, Malachi studied hard day and night and eventually, when he came of age, took the entrance exam for the Imperial Academy.

Malachi’s determination to succeed often made him his own worst enemy. Impatient by nature, he pushed himself to the brink, believing that hard work alone would be enough to overcome his struggles. This relentless drive led him to overwork himself, sometimes to the detriment of his health and social relationships. His parents' disappointment and the ridicule from other prospects—who mocked him for his lower-class background and ambitions of joining the Navy—only fueled his desire to prove himself, even if it meant sacrificing rest and leisure. To his great joy—and his parents' disappointment—Malachi passed the entrance exam. With mixed emotions, he boarded the shuttle to Prakith to begin his life in service to the Empire.
