WIP - The orphanage, as it turns out, is a horrible, horrible place. The Orphan Keeper is psychotic, and takes in as many orphans as he can only to force them to fight for his amusement in a dueling ring he has built in the basement. He does not allow the kids to kill each other, but anything short of that is okay, although when one does kill another, he doesn't usually take much action, other than to severely beat the orphan. (He keeps severely wounded kids in the basement where they can't be seen). He has a small room in the back of the basement, that used to be an old store room. He's stripped it bare, and installed a pipe to the roof that lets in air, but not light. A drain nearby leaks tepid water. If orphans refuse to fight, he locks them in there for a week, no food, tepid water, no light. Yuri spends from the age of 4-13 in this orphanage, and learns to fight well. However, at 13, she accidentally kills another orphan, and this shakes her deeply, she refuses to fight., and the man locks her in the room. After four days, she is pounding on the walls and screaming, and a brick comes loose. Air and light flood into the room, and she pulls more of them down and escapes, running away. | WIP - The orphanage, as it turns out, is a horrible, horrible place. Psychological Profile
Social Attributes
Loyalty: Yuri is steadfastly loyal to those she believes deserves her loyalty. She is not however, one who quickly gives loyalty, and often takes large amounts of time to truly stand beside someone.
Outspoken: Yuri talks quite a bit, but it is rarely what she is actually thinking. Her inner thoughts are kept carefully guarded beneath a veneer of companionship and happiness. She watches, catalogs, and analyzes everything that she sees, a habit from her years with CorSec.
Control Attitudes: Yuri can be both very tolerant, and completely unforgiving. It merely depends on the situation.
Dependability: Yuri is incredibly dependable. When she sets her mind to a task, she sees it through to its completion. It is one of the things that has made her so successful at hunting down those she believes are 'mad dogs'.
Attitude Towards Empire: Yuri sees the Empire as a means to a goal. Her goal is the elimination of 'mad dogs.' People she knows have killed out of a joy of it, and in her mind, have no longer become sentient, and must be put down. The Empire provides her with the tools and the experience to hunt them. She believes the rebels, who have all killed, to be 'mad dogs', and her fellow Imperials to believe in her ideal, even if in reality they do not.
Emotional Expression: Yuri often expresses emotion, and vocally so. However, this emotion is a carefully managed facade to cover her true purpose, as she knows people will not understand her motives.
Fairness: Yuri sees the world in a very black and white manner. You either are one of her 'mad dogs' or you are not. If you are not, you are fine in her book. If you are, then there is a very serious problem.
Leadership Attributes: Yuri is a bit of a loner, and has not yet spent much time in a leadership capacity, so her leadership skills are untested.
Physical Appearance: Yuri wears whatever she feels will suit her purpose. If that means a crisp military uniform or a ball gown, she does it, but not out of a sense of vanity. Out of a sense of purpose. She well knows others find her attractive, and she has never been above using that in her hunt.
Regard for Rules: Yuri follows her own set of moral guidelines, and so long as they follow the guidelines of whatever organization she works with, there is no problem. Should a conflict ever arise, her morals take precedence.
Team Spirit: Yuri will work within a team or alone, it makes little difference to her.
Individual Attributes
Combat Skills: Yuri is a skilled fighter, although she has not had the training to match a master, she can hold her own. Yuri tends to be more of a brawler, rather than someone with real martial training, due to her time in 'the pit' in the orphanage, with the gang, but received some basic martial training in CorSec, mostly self defense stuff, she has nonetheless picked up the use of small firearms with relative ease, and, while not a crack shot, she can ensure she brings her target to the ground.
Pilot: Yuri is a skilled fighter pilot, able to maneuver her craft expertly and hit her target with ease. She loves the speed and power in a fighter's engine, and seeks only to push it to its limits. Her skill, while partly pure talent, has been honed by long hours in simulators and in practice.
Achievement Attitudes: Yuri's drive is impressive. She seeks to move as high as she can, as quickly as she can. She throws herself completely into her work.
Emotional Temperament: Outwardly, Yuri seems perfectly normal. She laughs, she cries, and she has fun, but beneath this facade, she is cold and calculating, willing to do whatever it takes to get where she's going.
Energy Level: Yuri has extended stamina, due to her hard life and the rigorous physical regimine she puts herself through on a day to day basis.

Biography
Early Life
They are Coming
WIP - Yuri's father is a member of one of the street gangs in Coronet. He has done something to piss off a rival gang, and arrives home with just enough time to warn his wife, and hide his daughter (Yuri) who is 4. The gang arrives moments later and kills the father and mother in a very horrible fashion, then sets the house on fire and then leave. Yuri escapes, and CorSec forces discover her watching her home burn. She is placed in an orphanage
The Ring
NOTE: Description of orphan she kills "matted dark brown hair that nearly covers his eyes, a slight hook to his lips that makes it look as if he's always smiling. Killed with a jagged shard of glass in the throat.
The Gang
WIP - As she flees the orphanage, Yuri runs into (literally) the leader of one of the gangs (She does not know it, but it is the gang that killed her parents). The gang leader threatens her if she doesn't scram, but Yuri has spent so long fighting, she's not willing to take crap. Her fire impresses the gang leader, and rather than hurt her, he offers to let her join the gang. She has a strong aversion to killing (since she killed the orphan) and the gangs activities sicken her, but she has nowhere else to go. One day, one of the gang member's dog's gets rabies (or a star wars equivalent) and goes mad. They put it down, and Yuri gets an idea. "What do you do with a mad dog? You put it down." She sees the gang members as mad dogs, people who have gone insane and kill their fellow people. They become less than human in her mind. She uses her beauty (which at 13 has begun to manifest) to lure the gang members away one by one and kill them. She sees it as putting mad dog's down. However, after killing the entire gang, she realizes that there are more mad dogs that need to be put down. She thinks "who hunts mad dogs." CorSec.
CorSec
WIP -Yuri tries to join CorSec at 14, but is too young. However she is persistent, and attracts the attention of one of CorSec's investigators, who takes her under (his/her) wing. They begin to teach her the skills she needs to track, as well as fill in the gaps in her knowledge. Yuri proves to be very intelligent, and absorbs information quickly. She learns from her mentor until the age of 18, when she can formally join CorSec as an investigator herself. The position gives her the freedom to track her 'mad dogs' and she plans her 'captures' in such a way that it forces her targets into a corner, where they always try to kill her, giving her an excuse to kill them. She does not see her actions as wrong, but understands that others would not understand her reasons, so keeps her tracks covered. She is not always sent after people that she considers 'mad dogs' (usually murderers and the like), so her capture rate/death rate is not 100% death. However, it is high enough that CorSec fires her.
The More the Merrier
WIP -While in a cantina a few days after being fired, Yuri sees an imperial recruitment ad play on a viewscreen. It plays the usual stormtroopers marching to the anthem, AT-AT's parading, and TIE's roaring overhead, but then one image sticks with her, the image of rebel prisoners. She has heard what the rebels have done, all the lives they have killed, and realizes that they too are mad dogs that need to be put down. She immediately enlists.
Weapon of Choice
WIP - Yuri enlists and attends the academy, which further expands upon her intellectual knowledge. She also learns how to fight and kill more efficiently through training, and when the time comes for her branch decision, she realizes that the Navy, with its capacity for Orbital Bombardment, Bomber Wings, and plethora of other deadly weapons, will let her put down the most mad dogs. She selects the navy. She is first allowed only to fly fighters, but discovers to her joy that fighter's are just as deadly. She also discovers her thrill of flying fast and dangerous, often taking routes past obstacles that other pilots would avoid. This blossoms into her love of fast ships.
