Imperial Medal of Honour
[HON]
The Imperial Medal of Honour was presented to an Imperial for extremely conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of life and limb, far above and beyond the call of duty while engaged in actions against the enemies of the New Imperial Order.
Distinguished Service Medal
[DSM] awards The Imperial Distinguished Service Medal was awarded to an Imperial in recognition for exceptionally and/or long meritorious service to the Emperor and the Empire.
Imperial Gold Star
[IGS]
The Imperial Gold Star was presented to an Imperial who had given exemplary service that promoted the goals, mission, and strength of the New Imperial Order. The service and honour of the recipient had been recommended well above that required of an Imperial Silver Star, affecting and improving the entire NIO.
Imperial Silver Star
[ISS]
The Imperial Silver Star was presented to an Imperial who had given notable service that promoted the goals, mission, and strength of the New Imperial Order. The service and honour of the recipient had been recommended well above that required of an Imperial Bronze Star, affecting and improving the entire NIO.
Imperial Bronze Star
[IBS]
The Imperial Bronze Star was presented to an Imperial who had given service that promoted the goals, mission, and strength of the New Imperial Order. The service and honour of the recipient had been recommended well above that required of a Branch Cross, affecting and improving the entire NIO.
Imperial Medal of Commendation |
Imperial Medal of Commendation
[IMC]
This award was intended to recognise service which has repeatedly and consistently been above that of the recipient's peers. This award was presented in lieu of an Imperial's sixth Letter of Commendation.
Obsidian Crescent
[OBC]
The Obsidian Crescent was awarded to any member of the New Imperial Order that had been wounded or killed, or who had died after being wounded whilst on active duty.
Individuals weren't recommended for the decoration; rather they were entitled to it upon meeting the criteria.
Imperial Bravery Medal
[IBM]
The Imperial Bravery Medal was awarded for conspicuous acts of bravery by an individual whilst engaged in combat. The act of bravery must have exceeded the expectations of someone of the same position.
Achievement Medal
[ACH]
This medal and ribbon was presented to an Imperial whose performance, in the belief of the Moff or equivalent commander, had been exemplary and made the recipient an asset and example for their respective branch.
Crosses
Imperial Cross
[IC]
The Imperial Cross was presented to an Imperial who distinguished themselves by showing extraordinary heroism to ensure the safety and security of the New Imperial Order. The act or acts of heroism must have been so notable and have involved risk of life so extraordinary as to set the individual apart from their comrades.

Branch Crosses
A branch cross was awarded to Imperials that have performed consistent service above and beyond the call of duty, and have personally improved a particular branch as a whole through their actions. Branch crosses include:

Ribbons
Order of the Emperor's Seal
[OES]
The Emperor may invest a recipient with membership within the Order of the Emperor's Seal at his discretion, as recognition for exceptional dedication, loyalty, ability, and the application of those traits.

A member of Imperial High Command invested a recipient with membership within the Order of the Imperial Seal at their descretion, as recognition for loyalty beyond the call of duty, and dedication to the ideals of the New Order.

Special membership awards were:
- Star Wars Simulation
[SWS]
This was a special award given to all members of the Imperial Armed Forces who served in the Empire during the time of the Star Wars Simulation (1998 to February 2000).
- New Order Medal
[NOM]
[NOM-IHC]
This was a special award given to all those who joined the SWCE during its formation period (February 2003 and June 2003). It denoted the intrepid spirit of those who gave of their time and energy to ensure there was a foundation for the new simulation to sustain itself and begin growing.
Betterment Awards
This award was presented for a meritorious and lasting contribution to one of the branches of the Empire. This contribution should help improve current standards for a branch, which included:

Imperial Active Service Medal
[IASM]
This award shall be presented to an Imperial that has seen active service in an Imperial Campaign. A clasp is awarded for each Campaign individually.
Imperial Defence Medal
[IDM]
This award was presented to an Imperial whose outstanding performance in a campaign involved the defence of an Imperial system led then to win the day, displaying keen initiative and leadership, and being an example for their comrades of how an Imperial should fight.

Awarded to Imperial Intelligence Agents or Imperial Special Operations personnel who successfully completed a Special Operation under the direction of the Bureau of Operations. Only public or retired members of Imperial Intelligence may display this award.
Battle Efficiency Award
[BEA]
This award was granted to the members of an Imperial Unit that demonstrated conspicuous skill and effectiveness in a combat situation. This was a one time award.
Unit Distinguished Service
[UDS]
This award was presented to an Imperial Unit for excellent performance and military merits during manoeuvres. This award is one for service decidely above that needed for a Letter of Commendation or Exercise Achievement Medal.
Exercise Achievement Medal
[EAM]
This award was presented to an Imperial whose outstanding performance in a Training Exercise led them to win the exercise, displaying good initiative and leadership, and being an example for their comrades of how an Imperial should fight.
Medical Performance Medal
[MPM]
This award was granted to an Imperial whose service to the Imperial Medical Department had been exemplary. Performing a life-saving operation, efficient medical research, or great involvement in the Imperial Medical Department were all grounds for awarding this medal.
Tactical Essay Contests

This award was presented to the winner of the Tactical Essay Contest. This contest was designed to measure the abilities of the participants to solve different adverse situations with limited resources.

This award was presented to the winner of the Imperial Literacy Contest. This contest was designed to measure the abilities of the participants to create interesting and diverse stories.

Imperial Recruitment Medal

This was a one time award issued by the Director of the Imperial Centre for Recruitment to Recruitment Agents who demonstrated dedication, reliability, and proven success in the field of recruitment.
Command Awards
This award was granted to an Imperial Officer who had completed the Imperial Command Course and graduated with Honours. This award recognised that the officer was suited and qualified for command in their field of expertise. The type of award must match the major that Honours was achieved in. The awards included:

A Letter of Commendation was meant to recognize an Imperial's excellent, efficient, and effective performance in Imperial Service. A Letter of Commendation was presented when the recipient performed well above the standards set by his or her branch, and was a means of giving recognition where the level of service needed for a higher award have not been met. If an Imperial was worthy of receiving a sixth Letter of Commendation, he was awarded the Imperial Medal of Commendation.

The Imperial Academy Basic Graduate was granted by the Provost General of the Imperial Academy for a student that graduated at the end of their training, showing a lot of dedication and great skills.
Those who graduated with Honours wore a ribbon, the Imperial Academy Basic Graduate - Honours, indicating such.
Imperial Citizenship Award

This award was presented to a member of the NIO for his or her contribution to the well-being of the New Imperial Order by means of a donation of a significant amount of resources or assets.
