Vyna Shadows (Born Year -8 Day 271) is a male Kiffar from the planet Kiffa. He was raised by his parents, who were both farmers. When he was 18, a pack of Feral Anzati attacked his village which resulted in the death of both of his parents. Vyna was rescued by the 4th Brigade of the Imperial Army, who were on a mission to quell a rebellion on Kiffa. Impressed by his physical strength, combat skills, and pure determination to bring a stop to his enemies, the Imperial Army Brigade Commander offered Vyna a position in the Army, which he accepted. Over the years, Vyna rose through the enlisted ranks of a Storm Trooper where he was considered and recommended for an Imperial Officer Commission.

Early Life

As a young child, Vyna was always getting into trouble on the farm. He was known for his mischievous nature, but his parents loved him all the same. Despite his antics, Vyna was a hard worker and helped his parents tend to the crops and animals. He was also fascinated by the stars and would spend hours gazing up at the sky, dreaming of adventure beyond his small village.

But one night, everything changed. A pack of Feral Anzati attacked Vyna's village, killing his parents and destroying everything he had ever known. In the chaos, Vyna was rescued by the Imperial Army, who were on a mission to quell a rebellion on Kiffa.

Vyna was grateful for his rescue and vowed to repay the Empire for their kindness.

The Academy

Vyna enrolled in the Imperial Officer Academy in the early part of Year 24 at the age of 31. Unlock the other Officer Recruits who had to attend Imperial Basic Training, he was placed in the Officer Training Studies. In his early life in the Empire, he was only known as TK-782. While at the Imperial Academy on Prakith--his Military Training brought him no favors with his instructors. In fact, they made his life harder as they expected he knew everything. The Academy life was demanding, but nothing like it was while a Storm Trooper. His personal time was nonexistent while he was in his studies. ; The Academy placed harsh standards on him and he required a minimum grade of seventy percent on all materials. If he could not meet these expectations he would have been expelled immediately.

While his fellow recruits weren't attending lectures or studying in their dorms they were expected to perform physical training, take part in basic weapons handling, and complete extracurricular activities. As he was experienced and had deadly accuracy with the E-11, he was often looked at as the Ideal soldier the instructors wanted their fellow recruits to become.

Vyna graduated from the Academy with honors and was immediately commissioned into the Imperial Army as a Second Lieutenant.

Imperial Army

After the Academy became a new officer, Vyna was expecting he would return to the same unit he came from. He soon found out that the life of an Officer is way different than an Enlisted for the Imperial Army, and was assigned to a new Legion. As he meet his Commanders, he was assigned to an Infantry Unit, where he is tasked to train and turn a pathetic group into an Elite Infantry Corps

The lieutenant was sent immediately into combative action to eliminate bandits and hostile wildlife to assist the Regional Government in pacifying wild lands for new development. He has demonstrated strong combat skills and an excellent attitude, representing himself and his Legion well. While on his deployment he has learned what his men are capable of and they too learned what type of man their new Officer is. Being placed in harsh conditions, they have over came every battle that they have faced so far. Earning the respect of his troops.

Personality & Traits

Personality

Vyna see's himself as one of the few who can bring order to the galaxy and ensure the success of the Galactic Empire. He is extremely loyal to the Empire and will do anything to ensure its success.

He is a strong military strategist and displays a sense of confidence, strength, and reliability -- all traits of model Imperial officers. Due in part to his feelings of helplessness when his family was killed, Vyna strongly feels that it is his sole duty to protect the Empire and its citizens. Further to this, he emphasizes loyalty above all else and will not allow that loyalty towards the Empire to go into question. As his Loyalty to the Galactic Empire is absolute, this can sometimes cloud his judgment, leading him to make rash decisions that may not be in the best interest of his troops. He can also be stubborn and resistant to change.

Appearance

Visually striking, Vyna's features would not typically belong to a young man who for a better part of his life spent wearing Storm Trooper armor and fighting in harsh environments. His mid-length white hair is often slicked back and tight, and he can often be seen cleaned and shaved. One of his most distinctive features is his ruby-red eyes if he ever removes his dark glasses.
