Captain Gunther Rall.

Gunther was born in Coronet on Corellia. Very little is known about his early youth, but his immediate family were all killed and he was raised by an Uncle. Gunther always preferred 'outdoor pursuits' to being stuck in a classroom.

When Gunther was in his early teens, he got involved in a Cantina brawl and collected a scar on his left cheek courtesy of a Wookiee. Gunther excelled at sports and was an average student. Known for his sense of humour and hard hitting sports play, he was popular if a little unassuming with his peers.

Gunther's Uncle was the one who suggested that he should join the Imperial Armed Forces. Once he was of the requisite age, Gunther enrolled in the Imperial Academy (Universitas Imperium) and upon graduation he was assigned to the 7th Imperial Fleet as a Crewman (E-2) under the then Commander Rex Corwyn (Y9 D163). Gunther was immediately assigned to the Scylla Tax Planet mission. On Y9 D177 Gunther was promoted to Crewman First Class (E-3) and assigned a Star Galleon by which to carry out his duties of Raw Material hauling on the Scylla mission. Gunther was proud that after just 2 months in the newly formed 7th Imperial Fleet, the Fleet was awarded the fleet of the month award. On Y9 D213 Gunther was promoted to Flight Corporal (E-4). Y9 D225 The 7th Imperial Fleet was awarded its second Fleet of the Month award. On Y9 D247 Gunther was promoted to Flight Sergeant (E-5) and awarded his first DIS. Y9 D278 Gunther was promoted to Staff Flight Sergeant (E-6). Y9 D310 Gunther was promoted to Master Flight Sergeant (E-7) and awarded his second mentioned in dispatchers. Y10 D18 Gunther was awarded his 6 month Duty Bar. Y9 D363 Gunther was released from his duties on the Tax Planet Project Scylla and awarded his Duty Ribbon for the Scylla Operation, the largest tax planet constructed by the Galactic Empire at that time, and possibly still is. Y10 D5 Gunther was advised of the creation of the 1st Assault Force whereby the 7th Imperial Fleet would be working with the 2nd Imperial Legion. Little did Gunther know at that stage what the future would hold. Y10 D31 Gunther was promoted to Chief Master Sergeant (E-8). Y10 D35 Gunther joined the Imperial Recruitment Centre, a position he was to hold until Y10 D120. Y10 D45 The assault Force received their first assignment, The Koornacht Cluster and Gunther was appointed as an assistant team leader on the mission. Y10 D66 Gunther arrest Crewman Ben Steel, New Republic Officer & spy amongst the 7th Imperial Fleet and on board the YV-666 Fortitude. Y10 D91 Gunther was promoted to Flight Officer (E-9) and awarded a Letter of Commendation. Y10 D93 Gunther is transferred to the Imperial Army at his own behest, wanting to 'see how the other half lives', but the transfer was put on hold until Operation Stellar Aegis was concluded. Y10 D117 Gunther is offically transferred to the 2nd Imperial Legion as a Sergeant Major (E-9).

Imperial army life really suited Gunther. He felt more alive than he had in years. The freedom from the constraints of the cockpit. The cameraderie, joi de vive and ability to look his enemy in the eyes were amongst the benefits of being in the Army. Not that the Navy wasn't great, but Gunther really felt more at home in the Army.

Y10 D145 Gunther was appointed as Legion Adjutant to replace Sergeant Major Endora Strax who left the Hellhounds for the Executive Officer position with the 3rd Imperial Legion, 'The Immortals'. Y10 D187 Gunther was awarded his third DIS, the Brigade Commanding Officer Award and his 1 Year Duty Bar. Y10 D194 Gunther was promoted to Command Sergeant (E-10). Y10 D245 Gunther is offered and accepts the position of Executive Officer with the Hellhounds. Y10 D255 Gunther was promoted to 2nd Lieutenant (O-1). Y10 D274 Gunther is offered and accepts the position of Legion Commanding Officer with the 2nd Imperial Legion. Y10 D341 Gunther is awarded the Certified Academy Tutor Award (TUT) for his work as a Training Officer at the Imperial Academy. Y10 D356 Gunther is awarded the Officer and Command Studies Honors Graduate and promoted to 1st Lieutenant. Y11 D64 Guther is awarded the Imperial Cross by order of His Majesty, The Emperor and is also awarded the M'Buh Mission Ribbon for partaking in Operation Dumbo Drop. Y11 D115 Gunther is given the Legion Command Award (LCA) by Colonel Arbellason Saalar in the presence of The Hellhounds Legion Adjutant Elvira Falston. Y11 D138 Gunther was promoted to Captain (O-3) by Brigadier General Graeda L'Annan at the Imperial Monthly Meeting.

Captain Rall is looking to the future and the ongoing development of the 2nd Legion and its soldiers, continuing to serve in the finest traditions of the Army and serving his Imperial Majesty with all his heart and soul.

Appearance: Gunther is 1.78 meters tall and is solidly built at 91 kilograms. Gunther is Corellian with light brown hair (work tightly cropped) and he has piercing blue eyes. Gunther has a scar that runs down his left cheek from his temple to his chin.

Demeanor: Gunther is talkative and always looking to learn something new. He generally easy going when not on assignment, but once he is on duty he is focussed and determined. He can be a little sarcastic and not everyone understands his sense of humour.

Goals: Gunther wants to continue to prove himself and as a recently commissioned officer, hopes to continue to rise through the ranks and wants to keep the Hellhounds the best Legion in the Army.

Prejudices: Gunther cannot stand ignorance. He will not listen to ill formed opinions and is not averse to letting people know his views.

Beat Qualities: Loyalty, efficiency, determination and tenacity.

Weaknesses: Gunther can be quick to form decisions and sometimes should take a little more time to study all the information at hand. Knowing that this is an area he has to work on, he is always conscious to run his decisions in critical situations by his peers.

Interests: Gunther will watch and attempt to play any sport. He is also an aspiring chef and loves to experiment in the kitchen/galley.

Quarters: Gunther's quarters also double as his office. The office is very functional. A terminal sits atop a stainless steel desk with a chair on either side. Neatly piled on one side of the desk are technical datapads and reports. These serve to keep the XO up to date on the ongoing activities on the Legion, Army and Military. His quarters are sparsely decorated. His awards are framed and take pride of place on the main wall. Holos of the CO's career to date adorn the walls.

Favourite weapon & why: E-11, as it is the standard and therefore the best and only weapon for a Stormtrooper.

Type of Trooper: Snowtrooper. Gunther loves the challenge of combat in extreme environments.

Food: As Gunther likes to experiment in the kitchen, he doesn’t have a specific favourite food, but does like spicy food, not for the heat but for the flavours!
