History
Early Years on Naboo
Adrian Althalus grew up in a small village, high up in the Gallo Mountain range. This village, however, was no ordinary village. This village was home to the Everto Angelus, an ancient order of warriors who were said to have been founded shortly after the end of the Great Sith War, who secluded themselves in order to to obtain the perfect form of combat. Like the other children, Adrian started his training as soon as he was able to walk. He had the arts of fighting and war drilled into him day in, day out. He learned the way to weld many weapons, although he was most deadly with the blade. By the time he was five, he had learned four of the eleven combat forms of the Everto Angelus and was much respected amongst his peers. In the summer of his sixth year, Adrian came down with a strange ailment. He had a high fever and profuse sweating, but the most oddest symptom was that he said that there was a painful discomfort with his eyes. These symptoms baffled the healers of the village to no end, they just couldn't come up with a proper diagnosis. Luckily the Chief Healer, Clair Celestia had returned from her trip to Theed with her friend, Teresa Solaris. Adrian often spent what little free time he had with Clair and Teresa, who would teach him many thing that where not covered in his regular lessons, such as the ways of the world outside of the village and the many different languages of the galaxy. Adrian was an only child and Clair and Teresa became like his sisters, which he often referred to them as such. So when they heard of Adrian's illness they rushed over to his house as fast as they could. Clair quickly diagnosed the illness to be an extremely rare disease called verumumbra. This disease was so rare that there had only been 12 known cases in the entire galaxy. It was just luck that someone in the village had had it before in the village and the symptoms and and case study were all in the medical vaults. The notes said that the early symptoms where as Adrian had, high fever and profuse sweating and discomfort of the eyes, however the symptoms would worsen, with the end result would leave Adrian blind. Adrian had but one chance to save his sight. Unknown to Adrian, Clair was doing research on Adrian's bloods. Adrian's blood broke down harmful chemical in the blood stream into their base elements and used them to repair the body. At the end of the medical notes on verumumbra, it said that though the end results of blindness took two year to become completely blind, the Head Healer at the time hypothesized that the resulting blindness was due to the fact that the cells were no getting the need element in order to restructure the iris and overcome the blindness. Clair deduced that the two missing elements were hydrogen and carbon. As Teresa held Adrian down, Clair forced him to drink a barrel of the villages strongest wine. The break down of the alcohol was practically instantaneous, so much so that Adrian didn't even get a buzz. The treatment worked in the end, and just to be on the safe side, Clair prescribed him one bottle of wine every day. The restructuring of the iris resulted in Adrian's dark blue eyes, turning red with comma like markings circling the pupil. Adrian soon after returned to training.
