The Imperial Port Authority (GNS)
Year 3 Day 59
~The transmission began up with a new insignia, though it was familiar enough, bearing with it the Imperial Seal. A face fades in, and while familiar, a name is not quite in mind. The figure takes a stride forward, and his frame comes into view, set now as the lights fade up in a large communications center, with several displays on the walls and a number of sub-officers within the Navy manning stations. A low hum carries, indistinct, but offering a hint of the smoothly moving center. The officer is wearing an olive-green Imperial uniform, with the rank insignia of a Commander in the Imperial Navy.~
Greetings, I am Commander James Stratus, of the Imperial Port Authority. Recently, events have led to the establishment of Martial Law over certain sectors of Imperial Space. In order to ensure security and orderly operations, and the protection of the Imperial Citizenry and their businesses, the Imperial Port Authority, operating with the sanction and endorsement of the local sector Moffs and similar representatives, is requiring that all vessels within Imperial space formally register with the Imperial Port Authority.
It is through the efforts of Lieutenant Lyric, Governor Donuts, and the architecture firm of Reaver Wizardry that the Imperial Port Authority has been established, and has undergone thorough testing over the past months. This interactive database is now being opened, and personnel on hand will ensure the security and safety of the registered ships. All vessels traveling within Imperial space shall register with the Imperial Port Authority, so as to secure passage and proper attention. If vessels are registered with the Port Authority and updated with new travel logs and similar, registration in the destination sector will be automatic. Imperial citizens are encouraged to register all of their assets whether operating within Imperial Space or not, as a measure of insurance against disaster, man-made and natural, and as further security against the actions of terrorists and pirates prowling the fringes of civilization.
Parties with questions or concerns may voice such with their local Moff and the Port Authority. Commercial and industrial interests are similarly encouraged to contact the Imperial Ministry of Diplomacy with any comments or queries.

Good Evening, and Long Live the Emperor.
~The Commander falls silent as the feed cuts from the operations center, and the transmission ends with the Imperial Seal, then opens a field with a connection to the Imperial Port Authority.~
