Ezekiel Jeremiah Hendricks (born Year -10 Day 143 CGT) is a Thyferran Imperial Officer holding the rank of Major in the Imperial Army.

History

Iridha Hendricks (nee Ikizma) had met Anthony Hendricks during an educational sabbatical on one of the many tropics that skirted the northern oceans of Thyferra. Presumably this was when the relatively staunch Imperial citizen started to become infatuated with Hendrick’s radical views about so called Galactic Civil War and his terrorist nature. It has since been uncovered that Iridah extended her sabbatical for a further six months before returning to the registered Imperial College of Arts where she studied Cultural Politics. Upon completion of her Degree, Iridah continued to meet with Hendricks in private, unbeknownst to her mother, Counsellor Hepzibah Ikizma of the Thyferran local government.

It is thought that around Year -11 Iridha became pregnant, a son to both herself and Anthony Hendricks. Instead of ceasing their criminalistics activities and ideals against the Empire, both parents fled the Imperial world and set course towards Republica to have the child, Iridha abandoning family and friends, and leaving her old life behind her, all for the sakes of a brainwashed lovesick relationship with outlaw figure, Anthony Hendricks.

Early Years

Ezekiel Hendricks was born on Year -10, Day 243. On reflection, he recalls having a relatively normal childhood, though unaware of Thyferra and his Imperial roots, he was told from an early age of family on the other side of the Galaxy. He grew up away from the political turmoil his parents seemed to carry with them, and had a few friends he played with during pre-school lessons – much of which he can no longer remember, nor the names of the friends he played with during the early years of his life.

The boy was eight years of age when he found himself returning to Thyferra to attend his grandfather’s funeral, the father of Iridha who insisted they go despite the risk (which had been played down by Hepzibah, Ezekiel’s grandmother). In reality, Ezekiel and his parents were about to step into a trap, orchestrated by Hepzibah, in the name of the Empire. Although it seemed harsh, to this day Ezekiel does not hold any ill feelings towards his grandmother, in fact he praises her for the hard choices she had to make against her estranged daughter.

Subsequently Ezekiel’s parents were taken into custody by the Imperial authorities and young Ezekiel was placed into the care of his grandmother, a woman who had supported the Empire throughout her long life. This is the woman that would bring Ezekiel back to a more civilized and most importantly, Imperial way of life.

Family

Counselor Hepzibah Ikizma (Grandmother)

Hepzibah Ikizma was once a Counsellor for the Thyferran local government, ruled over by COMPNOR. She was best known for her loyalist nature towards the Empire and her ruthlessness to those who questioned their involvement with Thyferra and its people. Grandmother to Ezekiel, she raised the boy from a youthful age after she had spearheaded an operation to incarcerate her own daughter and son-in-law for various counts of espionage. Soon after her daughter's incarceration, Ikizma's career in politics took a hit and she asked to step down after her tenure for that year expired, before elections took place again the following year. Though out of the public eye, she still holds many hands in local power and enjoys the benefits of serving the Empire for so long.

Imperial Academy

Prior to joining the Academy, Ezekiel Hendricks studied at the University of Thyferra, graduating with a degree in Computer Science and Operations - specializing in both civil and military systems. Due to his exemplary work on his homeworld he was coaxed into applying to the Imperial Academy by his grandmother, a brilliant woman in Ezekiel's eyes and whom he respected dearly. His application was quickly processed and accepted in the following weeks which resulted in Ezekiel travelling to Prakith to begin his studies.

It wasn't long before Ezekiel would be graduating with honors - though challenging, his training seemed to pass by without much issue. The young Thyferran has earned his commission and was assigned to an Imperial Army brigade.
