Marquis Sephar Hamet (Marquis S. Hamet; born Year -14, Day 295 ) is a Hapan male from Stalsinek IV. He just graduated the Imperial Academy and is currently serving as a new and ambitious member of the Empire.

Early Life

    Marquis was born in Year -14, Day 295 to parents Michael and Elizebeth Hamet on Hapes. His parents both Nobles of House Xarlac served honorably in the Ministry of Interior, his father Michael a Lawyer and his mother Elizabeth a Teacher. For many years his father could be found sitting in his office looking over the water and reviewing inventions for the Ministry of Defense while preparing them for the Patent office back on Hapes. Michael never traveled much except for official business only and his family never went off world because for unknown reasons they just couldn't. Elizabeth struggled with the hardships of Michael being consumed with work and while she enjoyed teaching at the Academy she encouraged children to get out and have fun especially Marquis.

    Marquis was an energetic child growing up, he played sports, played music, read books, and enjoyed both building and crafting things. Despite his skills and talents he struggled a lot in school often having to retake classes before successfully completing them. While liked by many of his teachers some of them just didn't think he had what it took to get through school and would either turn him down or fail him. Marquis became determined to complete school and while the Military appealed to him very much his parents never supported the idea. Unable to join the service Marquis started college undecided what he would study. It was through college Marquis began discovering his potential as a leader and his passion for the sciences. He went on to voluntarily coaching the first Xarlac soccer team while studying emergency medicine, while he had full support from his team for a few years eventually the University took the team and hired someone to coach it professionally. It was then Marquis decided if he ever got into business that he would get paid for it rather than volunteer. 

A New Frontier

    The time finally came when Marquis was faced with a personal decision that would change his life, after dropping out of college his junior year while studying computer science, he had to ask what was he going to do next. It was then he reflected on his life looking back at everything he had and hadn't done realizing many of the things were influenced by his family and not of his own accord. It was then through this realization he decided he was going to find a way into the military and leave his home planet to start a new life for himself with adventure, service, and honor.
