SUMMARY:

Maulak Khaos is a Naboo male, born to Senator Kolbrun Khaos and his mistress, a Coruscanti woman by the name of Edaara Sven. His father being a politician, as well as an ambassador, Maulak spent much of his time in a courtly environment and aboard Imperial cruisers, which he never had much of an affinity for. Flying made him nauseous. During his life up until his enrollment in the Imperial Academy, he befriended many royals and government officials, and grew accustomed to the lifestyle. This is what inspired him to join the Empire's Regional Government upon graduating the Academy with an IABG award. Since his graduation, that is where he has served and continues to serve.

Early Life:

Maulak Khaos had a childhood full of adventure, friendship, and grandeur. His toddler years were spent on a modest farm with his mother and his uncle, where he was kept a secret from his father, so as to not ruin his chances at senatorship. Upon reaching the age of 5, Edaara felt it was time to inform Kolbrun of Maulak's existence. After learning that he had another son to accompany his existing one, Bynar, he was thrilled. Bynar's mother had died a year before, so he took Edaara as his wife and welcomed Maulak with open arms. Bynar, not so much. Being 6 years older, he became jealous of the attention that was given to his new half-brother. This jealousy soon became a vile hatred and constant competition between the two.

Teen Life:

Since the age of 5, Maulak had been conditioned to fit in to life in court and being surrounded by royals and government official. But around the age of 12, he began his training to be his father's successor. During this time, he learned to pilot his own ship, command military units, write up official documents, and govern and lead large quantities of people. He became very loyal to the Empire, and he came to respect its officials and all they stood for. After a few years, Maulak Khaos was ready to be a Senator.

A Father's Betrayal and a Son's Decision:

Maulak was 16, and everything was going great. He was in the middle of his training, and doing fantastic. Bynar had left years ago unannounced, and left no notice as to where he was going. His whereabouts remained unknown until one fateful day when an ISD passed by Naboo, an encrypted transmission was intercepted...from Bynar. He was on a unnamed Rebel planet, and Senator Kolbrun had been feeding him Imperial secrets. Kolbrun was apprehended immediately, and taken into custody. Edaara was never much into politics. She didn't care about the Rebels or the Empire. She only cared about her family and their safety, so when the opportunity arose to flee and hide out in safety with Bynar, she immediately decided to take Maulak and go. But Maulak did not want to leave. He believed the Rebels had corrupted his brother and his father, and had taken them from him. Now they were taking his mother, too. This only spurred him to support the Empire even more. So with that, Maulak Khaos left his mother and joined the Imperial Academy with hopes of one day making it into the Regional Government.
