The Rogue Squadron is yet another pitiful "Rebel" splinter faction masquerading as a legitimate government when it is in fact another terrorist organisation. The division of Rogue Squadron from the New Republic goes to prove that not only are the "Rebels" corrupt, but utterly void of the most basics in tactical stratagem.

Overview

Known for being one of the more extremist members of the Galactic Alliance, Rogue Squadron operates as the current "government" of the Elrood Sector. The reality is Rogue Squadron operates at the head of a large intergalactic criminal network with several business fronts. These fronts act as a cover for a large intergalactic smuggling and terrorist ring. These fronts also give the Rogue Squadron an aura of it being a responsible government. The fact is, as with most Galactic Alliance controlled territory, there is no order, law or prosperity. There is only anarchy, chaos and exploitation.

History

Rogue Squadron was formed by several bands or roaming mercenaries, illegal prospectors, criminals, smugglers, and various other low-lifes. As they word it their goal was to "...give their common goals a formal basis to work on." In fact their goal was to, through the use of, intimidation, subversion, and corruption, gain a foothold in the galaxy from which they could profit from their brand of lawlessness anarchy and chaos. They had pledged publicly to bring "...freedom, peace, and prosperity for what they had come to love as their rightful homes." Instead we can see that their goals have been simply greed, destruction, and hatred for everything that is good and orderly in the galaxy.

Current Activities

Rogue Squadron acts as the current "government" of the Elrood Sector. A sector known for its corruption and lack of order. Rogue Squadron is also the head of a large intergalactic smuggling and terrorist organization. The faction operates several business fronts who's main purpose is to channel galactic credits to Rogue Squadron so that the faction can continue to operate its anti-Imperial activities.

• Nova Industries - A large production company known for supplying Rogue Squadron with credits and equipment.

• Southern Rim Free Trade Association - An front for funneling credits to Rogue Squadron.

• Sorosuub Corporation - Originating from the planet Sullest, Sorosuub is a ship building company that has been declared a criminal organization. Sorosuub supplies the rebels of Rogue Squadron with ships.
