Dax Rayya is an 18-year-old Naboo male, currently serving as a Flight Sergeant in the Imperial Navy.

Biography

Dax "Gamma" Rayya was born on Year -6, Day 267, in the city of Theed, Naboo's capital. Dax's family lived on the outskirts of the city. He had a fairly normal childhood, and grew up with two siblings, his older brother Dante, and his younger sister Tali, who was named after their mother. Dax's father, Maxis, worked as a low-level politician in Theed, while his mother Tali ran a small business chain. Dax was a good student in school, and he got good grades, and earned practical work experience by often helping out with his mother's business.

Pretty much the the only point of interest pertaining to Dax's adolescence was that he had a childhood Gungan friend, who was the same age as him. Dax was one of the few people, besides those travelling on business, who descended into the Gungans' famed underwater cities.

By the time he was 16, Dax had discovered a new passion: flying. After saving up enough money, Dax enrolled as a student of Theed's prestigious Academy of Aviation, where he soon discovered he was a natural pilot. Within a week, he was keeping up with his instructors, and his skills consistently outshone their own. After viewing his classes' graduating flight demonstration, an Imperial recruiter, impressed by Rayya's natural affinity as a pilot, persuaded him to consider a career in the Imperial military. Excited by the prospect of adventure and interstellar travel, Dax listened to the Recruiter's words with enthusiasm. As soon as Dax turned 18, he enrolled in the Imperial Academy, his sights dead-set on a Naval career in service to the Galactic Empire.

After graduating from the Academy and serving as a Crewman in the Imperial Navy, Dax's career reached new heights, and he was soon promoted to the rank of Flight Corporal by virtue of his piloting skills. Soon after that, by proving himself as a capable TIE Fighter Squadron Leader, he once again earned a promotion for himself, this time to the rank of Flight Sergeant.

Team Spirit: Dax will take it upon himself to improve team spirit. He thinks if the team is happy then they can do their job better. Team spirit is a must, and will always rank high on Dax's list of priorities.
