== Birth ==

On Year 4012 Day 108 of the Royal Hapan Calendar, Julius was born to proud Parents Inara Estezova and Alistair von Alard. The boy was beautiful and his parents adored him, however the Alard tradition demanded that the Grandparents choose the name of the young boy. A tradition handed down since the times of Alartia. After birth, Julius was allowed only a day with his parents, for them to care for the boy and learned what it meant to be a parent before the Grandparents would take the boy for a week, they would decide after careful consideration a name suitable to the boys class and upbringing and potential for nobility. A strong and powerful name, reminisce of a great leader was chosen. The boy was given the name Julius, after Lord Julius von Alard a great soldier and a fighter, centuries ago during a minor Lorell Conflict.

This was the Alard tradition, one that covered all of the Alrd family across of Hapes and Lorell, a wide fraternity gathered for the boy's official naming ceremony, held at Alard hall the family was nervous, this would be when the child would be acepted as an Alard, something all went through and marked with the family crest, this mark is held in high regard as a universal symbol of loyalty and courage to one another. Printed in the same spot for all Alard's its precise location is not known to the general populous.

On the 108th day of the 4012th Hapan Royal Calendar, within the atmosphere of the Planet Lorell Julius von Alard was brought screaming into the world. His parents, Inara and Alistair, wealthy Hapan politicians had their sons destiny mapped out from the day he was born. Immediately Julius was famous in being the first child to married politicians in Lorell's history. As he grew he became a rugged boy of astute knowledge often outwitting his parents. He eventually found his way out of his parent's plans and found himself in the core sectors of the galaxy. Landing on Coruscant his true ambition had been the Imperial Navy where he now serves.

During a naming ceremony on Lorell, especially in an Alard household was something to behold, sometimes up to tens of thousands of family members and friends gathered to witness the naming and makring of a new child, it was customary that only an Alard may watch the marking of the child, lest their secrets be revealed. This ceremony is held in high regard and if it does not go completely to plan and precision, then the child will not be accepted and branded an outcast. Luckily, Julius` ceremony wen without a hitch and he was accepted as a member of the Family.

== Early Life ==

After the ceremony, only the immediate family gathers, at this stage the child is returned to the family now a true Alard and the child's life begins in earnest. The boy is usually showered in gold and silver garments and is made to feel like a king in his first moments as an Alard, it is always hoped that the Child remembers this moment, and see's the lush life he or she is about to lead. To be thankful to all of the congregation. Having a child in the Alard family is definitely a stressful exercise, but one worthwhile in the end.

Born in a mansion Hospital in central Lorell Julius was a rugged child. The Hapes Cluster was under the rule of Andrew Rai'ix Chume Starfyre. At 1 year old Julius was a prize of his parents in the political world, often seen with his hand firmly in the grasp of his loving mother at functions, Julius was a star attraction and he lapped it up. As the young Hapan grew in stature and in knowledge he became well known in not only the political but in the public eye. His parents grew aware of the popularity of their son through the various News broadcasts as well as several political debates. Julius was often used as a softener at debates and parties and was commonly known to be subject to abuse and other forms of malicious intent in his first 2 years of life.

As such the young Julius began to build up his defenses against such attempts, his parents, oblivious to the torment of their young boy continued to use him as a political shield, it didn't work. One such night the 2 year old Julius sensed the mood of the room, shrugged of his oblivious mothers had and wandered out of the room. Finding himself in the streets of Lorell Julius began to enjoy his time as a free toddler. His parents took no less then 4 hours to release that their 2 year old son had gone missing, naturally bedlam ensued and the young Hapan was picked up by Lorell Police an hour later. However having thoroughly enjoyed his time outside the young Hapan had written his own plans.

Over the next week, Julius managed to escape his parents now watchful gaze 3 more times, each time he was found in a different place. The local Police Station the Gardens of Lorell and his own backyard. After the 3rd such incident, his parents refrained from taking the boy out and he was confined to the high security mansion that was his home. Julius now 3 years old and that little bit wiser began to test his parents security, on 2 more occasions he managed to escape the confines of his home to again wander the countryside.

Over the next 10 years of his life Julius spent more and more times learning about the outside world, learning the wonders of space and the expertise of piloting. However his daring escapes ceased during his 12th year as his parents finally confined him to his own room and was often locked out from outside contact for days and weeks on end. His father began to see the fire in hi son's eyes, the steely determination each time his son was returned to his waiting arms. Citing medical reasons his father quit politics and began a genuine relationship with his son. When Julius turned 13 his father told him he would allow him out every day for 2 hours if he spent time with his dad building a Dynamic Class Freighter together in a massive Factory brought by the wealthy Family. Agreeing with his fathers terms Julius immediately left the family home and spent the next 2 hours wandering the streets.

Julius at this age had several outings, once to his Father's Naming Day ceremony, where his father was named Alistair. Julius was running around with his young cousins, when a Unit of Hapan My`til fighters flew in formation overhead, a Hapan Battle Dragon appearing out of hyperspace, in close proximity to Lorell. Julius looked up at the majestic ship, the outlines of weapons, the precision it moved. The Gods had truly looked down and decided the child's fate on this day. So over the next 2 years Julius and his father worked piece by piece on a Custom and modded Dynamic Class Freighter. Before his political and married life, his father had been a builder for the Corellian Engineering Corporation, after 10 years of service they gave him a complimentary Dynamic data card and his father re-payed them by quitting the next day. At age 15 Julius was at the epitome of his life, having built nearly a whole Freighter with his father and having spent endless hours learning and nurturing his gift Julius' true ambition began to take shape.

At 16 tragedy struck the young Julius, after completing the Freighter his fathers was installing the weaponry when trying to calibrate them he accidentally crossed a couple of wires and was electrocuted, after being rushed to hospital his father later died, Julius' passion for life was gone. Julius organized his fathers funeral while his mother took her money and left the family. After asking the leading politician at the time to speak Julius began to formulate his new life, he began to formulate his adult life and beyond.

In his pre teen years, Julius learned a lot, political and military etiquette as well as the arts of reading and writing, he could speak fluent in many different languages. Although it wasnt obvious to him, Julius was being bred to be a politician, the constant social lessons about what to and what not to say at various times. This began to bore the boy, nothing entertained him like it used to, the knowledge of alliances of Hapes, the signing of accords and NAP's wore on him. He yearned to know of the Military, a Hapan soldier a a Hapan Fighter, the Galactic Civil War.

Before he even hit his 13th Year Julius was well known across the city, his parents however, continued to distrust the people of Lorell. They got suspicious of their movements, having a son in nobility and the limelight was a difficult thing for them to grasp.

Julius entered the Coruscant University for Advanced Sciences at 18 years if age. Having received excellent education in his home planet. There he learned culture, he learned military tactics, but he learned science. Engineering, to be exact. He attended, doing a Major Degree, in Advanced Engineering. After leaving Lorell Julius began to wonder the Galaxy, after seeing the dazzling Corellian shipyards and the ruins of several New Republic worlds. He spent his fortune and often took young women aboard his ship for mishapen activities that never seemed to end for the young 18 year old.

As the shuttle came in for a landing you felt a knot in your stomach. It was partly nerves and partly excitement. You had arrived at the Imperial Academy and were on your way to beginning your Imperial career. You glance around at the other new recruits in the shuttle, some appear more nervous than you are.

You disembark the shuttle and soon find yourself with mass of other new recruits. Before you stands the main building of the Imperial Academy. It is a large grey and black pyramid like structure, it's cold surface is illuminated by the first rays of the morning sun. It is not long before you find yourself going through the process of matriculation. You have your old civilian clothes taken away and are given academy issue uniforms, you are assigned a barrack and are put through a series of physical tests. You easily pass the tests and it is not long before you meet your academy instructor.

Your data card told you to report to room 4C in the instructor's hall. After a brief walk up a flight of stairs you find your instructor's class room. The room is a neat and orderly room, There are a few rows of steel desks facing a holoboard that covers an entire wall. On the opposite wall hangs a large Imperial banner. In the back corner is the instructor's desk. It is a large steel desk. The desk has nothing on top of it except for a miniature Imperial and army banner, a small model of an AT-AT, and a data pad. Sitting at the desk is your Academy Instructor. He stands up to great you.

Julius hair neatly sitting on his shoulders thanks the Command Sergeant, rising from his seat Datapad in hand Julius exited his Instructor's officer and entered the well furnished corridoor. Uniform crisp for his firstday on the job. Eyes gleaming in the heavy lighting of the majestic Imperial Academy. Stomach rumbling, Julius did the only thing he could think of and went in search of the mess hall.

Eventually his life began get less and less interesting his money was never going to run out and his motivation for galaxy travel began to drop. Julius slowly made his way from Sector to Sector and arrived in the Coruscant Over-sector, landing his ship on Coruscant Julius began to look for the spark to look for work. Julius spent a couple of months in a small law firm as a note taking desk jockey, tapping away at a data-pad all day was not the life he envisaged for himself.

Entering a place of frivolous activity, the wafting aroma of the various foods served made its way methodically to Julius` nostrils. Julius retrieved some food from his homeworld of Lorell and took a seat with a vast array of Recruits. They chatted eagerley, all were clearly of Corellian decent, their uniforms alread worn, buttons undone and their Insignia dirty with food. Julius disgusted left to his room.

You stand in formation with your fellow classmen. Slowly your company marches into the Imperial Academy hall. You find yourself in the Immense hall. Imperial banners hang from everywhere and the room is light by cauldrons that cast the building in a soft yet ominous glow.

The CSB as it was known was the law enforcement agency on Coruscant tasked with Civilian issues, initiated and given the rank of Probationary Constable Julius began to love what he did. Roaming the streets in his CSB uniform Julius was feared among Civilians for his ruthless decisions and his harsh interpretations of the Law. Many of Julius' victims were subject to rigorous interrogation at his hands, he earned his reputation and was beginning to be noticed. This is where he earned his Call Sign Chimera because no one ever knew which of Julius' heads would strike, the calm peaceful one or the deadly one.

On one such occasion stands out as the beginning of his Imperial Life. Julius investigated the murder of an Imperial Stromtrooper, there was a brawl after Imperial High Command made an announcement about a reform of the military. The Stromtrooper had been cruising the streets (Clearly drunk) when he was jumped by a group of 3 sentient's, a twi'lek a Human and a nasty Bothan who had a mean right hook.

After several other speeches and a long while standing at attention the graduation awards are given out. At long last you hear your name being called out.

The Bothan tripped the trooper and then the Twi'lek and human beat him to death, several blaster scorch marks were seen around the neighborhood.

For graduating from the academy with a score of 90%,I hereby promote you to the rank of [E-2] Crewman." The Command Sergeant then pins your new rank plaque on your uniform. "I also hereby award you the [[IABG]]..The Command sergeant takes a small metal box with the ribbon inside and hands it to you. Your instructor then salutes "Best of luck to you in the Imperial Navy Von Alard. Your transfer request to join the Imperial Navy has been forwarded to RADIN. You are dismissed."

Julius turns about heel. Returning into formation with his fellow classmates, some receive honours and they continue to march, each individual insignia gleaming in the sunlight. They continued down the promenade, perfect marching formation, culminating months of agonizing work. Now he would get to fly the ships he once thought he would design and build, how the world had changed, a grand career was now around him.

The trooper, a Sergeant managed to injure the Bothan in the initial fight, after killing the trooper the other 2 Sentient's ran after seeing their accomplice dead. Julius was called to the scene and the body was taken away and the scene processed.

Julius found out that the Bothan was a spy of the New Republic, the Bothan had been discharged from New Republic service and entered into a specialist Bothan Service. After the autopsy the body was released, after no leads in the case and a lot of Interrogating and too much bullshit for Julius, he closed the case and filed it away.

However as soon as it was entered into the CSB database the Imperial Security Bureau got wind o the investigation and the death of AWOL Sergeant who had no imperial clearance whatsoever. ISB found a leak and a break in security and several troopers were executed for high treason, Julius was commended and offered a position in the Empire. Julius accepted and will join the Empire after the end of his contract on Year 12 Day 179 when he will join the Empire.

Having completed 2 years and 3 months in Imperial Navy service, Julius was appointed the Commandant of the Academy and was charged with completing the reforms to to make a bigger and better academy, his Fleet and his Unit would be sorely missed and even those friends he had in other units were disgruntled and angry at his sudden departure, but it was necessary to ensure that he continue in his service and not simply retire all together. There is conjecture about what particularly caused these feelings, there is conjecture he simply was frustrated with how the Navy was being run, others and the majority believe the retirement of long time friend and FCO Markus Saretti left Julius in such a state he couldn't feel he could go on serving in his capacity.

Birth

On Year 4012 Day 108 of the Royal Hapan Calendar, Julius was born to proud Parents Inara Estezova and Alistair von Alard. The boy was beautiful and his parents adored him, however the Alard tradition demanded that the Grandparents choose the name of the young boy. A tradition handed down since the times of Alartia. After birth, Julius was allowed only a day with his parents, for them to care for the boy and learned what it meant to be a parent before the Grandparents would take the boy for a week, they would decide after careful consideration a name suitable to the boys class and upbringing and potential for nobility. A strong and powerful name, reminisce of a great leader was chosen. The boy was given the name Julius, after Lord Julius von Alard a great soldier and a fighter, centuries ago during a minor Lorell Conflict.

This was the Alard tradition, one that covered all of the Alrd family across of Hapes and Lorell, a wide fraternity gathered for the boy's official naming ceremony, held at Alard hall the family was nervous, this would be when the child would be acepted as an Alard, something all went through and marked with the family crest, this mark is held in high regard as a universal symbol of loyalty and courage to one another. Printed in the same spot for all Alard's its precise location is not known to the general populous.

"Friends, Family, members of the Elder council, we welcome you to Alard Hall on this the 117th day of the 4012 Hapan Year. We gathered as one community today to join together in welcoming Julius, son of Alistair and Inara into the family, we hope that his life will be fulfilling and that his journey will be his own and in the rites of his forefathers. Today, we mark Julius as one of our own, so that on his travels he will always know who he is, he will always know his heritage and may his soul be ever guarded."

During a naming ceremony on Lorell, especially in an Alard household was something to behold, sometimes up to tens of thousands of family members and friends gathered to witness the naming and makring of a new child, it was customary that only an Alard may watch the marking of the child, lest their secrets be revealed. This ceremony is held in high regard and if it does not go completely to plan and precision, then the child will not be accepted and branded an outcast. Luckily, Julius` ceremony wen without a hitch and he was accepted as a member of the Family.

After the ceremony, only the immediate family gathers, at this stage the child is returned to the family now a true Alard and the child's life begins in earnest. The boy is usually showered in gold and silver garments and is made to feel like a king in his first moments as an Alard, it is always hoped that the Child remembers this moment, and see's the lush life he or she is about to lead. To be thankful to all of the congregation. Having a child in the Alard family is definitely a stressful exercise, but one worthwhile in the end.

For the next 3 to 4 years the child is groomed to be perfect, to be beyond that of an ordinary Hapan, to excel at everything he does. So Julius is taught continuously groomed until at 4 years of age, public life and schooling begins.

At age 4 the child public life begins, before this the child remains wrapped up with the parents, occasionally seen by the Elders of the family for extra lessons it is now that the family gets to see the child for the first time since the naming ceremony and the marking of the boy. Julius is introduced at a party, exactly 4 years from his naming ceremony. the 117th day of 4016th Hapan Year. The party is grand, however only those bearing the mark of an Alard are permitted to see the boy.

Age 4, is the real beginning. In the Alard culture it is believed that at age 4 the gods look down on the child and decide its fate, that at this stage in this life the child will become a solider, or a sculptor or an architect. But no one truly knows, people speculate and wonder and even squabble but no one will quite know the career of the child.


Julius at this age had several outings, once to his Father's Naming Day ceremony, where his father was named Alistair. Julius was running around with his young cousins, when a Unit of Hapan My`til fighters flew in formation overhead, a Hapan Battle Dragon appearing out of hyperspace, in close proximity to Lorell. Julius looked up at the majestic ship, the outlines of weapons, the precision it moved. The Gods had truly looked down and decided the child's fate on this day. But then his father looked down upon the young boy gazing at the cruisers and told Julius, "Son, that life is of great honor. But be wary of the corruption it may bring into your life."


At age 4 Julius had already taken his first steps into a future career, what this would be, what form it would take would still be up to the child. But from age 5 and beyond he would begin to learn just what was expected of him.

Pre-teen years

In his pre teen years, Julius learned a lot, political and military etiquette as well as the arts of reading and writing, he could speak fluent in many different languages. Although it wasnt obvious to him, Julius was being bred to be a politician, the constant social lessons about what to and what not to say at various times. This began to bore the boy, nothing entertained him like it used to, the knowledge of alliances of Hapes, the signing of accords and NAP's wore on him. He yearned to know of the Military, a Hapan soldier a a Hapan Fighter, the Galactic Civil War.

Before he even hit his 13th Year Julius was well known across the city, his parents however, continued to distrust the people of Lorell. They got suspicious of their movements, having a son in nobility and the limelight was a difficult thing for them to grasp.

Coruscant

Julius entered the Coruscant University for Advanced Sciences at 18 years if age. Having received excellent education in his home planet. There he learned culture, he learned military tactics, but he learned science. Engineering, to be exact. He attended, doing a Major Degree, in Advanced Engineering. He learned from the best, and the best learned from him. He was a genius, his career, would easily be in ship Production and Prospecting.

Julius exhibited great strength and courage. However as shown he had difficulties with his people skills early, but he graduated and gained his Degree.


Imperial Basic Training

Recruit Julius von Alard [NEW]

As the shuttle came in for a landing you felt a knot in your stomach. It was partly nerves and partly excitement. You had arrived at the Imperial Academy and were on your way to beginning your Imperial career. You glance around at the other new recruits in the shuttle, some appear more nervous than you are.


You disembark the shuttle and soon find yourself with mass of other new recruits. Before you stands the main building of the Imperial Academy. It is a large grey and black pyramid like structure, it's cold surface is illuminated by the first rays of the morning sun. It is not long before you find yourself going through the process of matriculation. You have your old civilian clothes taken away and are given academy issue uniforms, you are assigned a barrack and are put through a series of physical tests. You easily pass the tests and it is not long before you meet your academy instructor.


Your data card told you to report to room 4C in the instructor's hall. After a brief walk up a flight of stairs you find your instructor's class room. The room is a neat and orderly room, There are a few rows of steel desks facing a holoboard that covers an entire wall. On the opposite wall hangs a large Imperial banner. In the back corner is the instructor's desk. It is a large steel desk. The desk has nothing on top of it except for a miniature Imperial and army banner, a small model of an AT-AT, and a data pad. Sitting at the desk is your Academy Instructor. He stands up to great you.


"Welcome recruit, come in and take a seat. I am Army Command Sergeant Santiano Salazar and I will be your instructor during your time here at the academy." He hands you a data pad. "This is yours to keep, in it you will find everything you need to know for now, It has your academy information recorded, It also has contains the course syllabus and some other useful information on it. Remember if you need some help You can always find me in my office here at the Imperial Academy. Well that is all for the moment recruit. Take the rest of the day to familiarize yourself with the Empire, I have uploaded an academy Tutorial to help you out once your academy account is created."


Julius hair neatly sitting on his shoulders thanks the Command Sergeant, rising from his seat Datapad in hand Julius exited his Instructor's officer and entered the well furnished corridoor. Uniform crisp for his firstday on the job. Eyes gleaming in the heavy lighting of the majestic Imperial Academy. Stomach rumbling, Julius did the only thing he could think of and went in search of the mess hall.

Making his way through the winding tunnels, getting lost three or four times, Julius hair now with beads of sweat rolling down and quite worn out, turned a corner into the Mess Hall.


Entering a place of frivolous activity, the wafting aroma of the various foods served made its way methodically to Julius` nostrils. Julius retrieved some food from his homeworld of Lorell and took a seat with a vast array of Recruits. They chatted eagerley, all were clearly of Corellian decent, their uniforms alread worn, buttons undone and their Insignia dirty with food. Julius disgusted left to his room.

Graduation

You stand in formation with your fellow classmen. Slowly your company marches into the Imperial Academy hall. You find yourself in the Immense hall. Imperial banners hang from everywhere and the room is light by cauldrons that cast the building in a soft yet ominous glow.


"Recruits, congratulations. Today you end one phase of your Imperial career and move onto the next. Your days of hard work,sweat, tears and blood are not over, but are now going to be put to a greater purpose. That purpose is to bring order to a galaxy filled with chaos to bring peace to a galaxy that has known only war. No matter what branch you move on to, remember the comrades you have made here and your shared experiences. Remember what you have learned and what we are fighting for."


After several other speeches and a long while standing at attention the graduation awards are given out. At long last you hear your name being called out.


"Recruit Von Alard please step forward" You step forward, pride filling your heart. "Recruit Von Alard, You have completed all your exams and have done very well. I am proud of you. For graduating from the academy with a score of 90%,I hereby promote you to the rank of [E-2] Crewman." The Command Sergeant then pins your new rank plaque on your uniform. "I also hereby award you the IABG..The Command sergeant takes a small metal box with the ribbon inside and hands it to you. Your instructor then salutes "Best of luck to you in the Imperial Navy Von Alard. Your transfer request to join the Imperial Navy has been forwarded to RADIN. You are dismissed."


Julius turns about heel. Returning into formation with his fellow classmates, some receive honours and they continue to march, each individual insignia gleaming in the sunlight. They continued down the promenade, perfect marching formation, culminating months of agonizing work. Now he would get to fly the ships he once thought he would design and build, how the world had changed, a grand career was now around him.

Imperial Navy

CLASSIFIED OPERATIONS

Imperial Academy

Having completed 2 years and 3 months in Imperial Navy service, Julius was appointed the Commandant of the Academy and was charged with completing the reforms to to make a bigger and better academy, his Fleet and his Unit would be sorely missed and even those friends he had in other units were disgruntled and angry at his sudden departure, but it was necessary to ensure that he continue in his service and not simply retire all together. There is conjecture about what particularly caused these feelings, there is conjecture he simply was frustrated with how the Navy was being run, others and the majority believe the retirement of long time friend and FCO Markus Saretti left Julius in such a state he couldn't feel he could go on serving in his capacity.
