Biography

Childhood

Ziox was an abnormal child among the Givin; he found mathematics boring and preferred to go exploring. This more the once got him in trouble with adults, particularly when he would go missing for days on end trying to find something of interest. As soon as he reached of age he moved out into seclusion.

The Battle Over Yag'Dhul

Over the years, as Ziox grew into a young man, he became a decent pilot in his Firespray. One day a group of unfamiliar ships jumped into the system and started heading toward Yag'Dhul. The people on the planet hailed the ships to welcome them, but they were ignored. The ships continued forward, and the Givin sent their own ships to meet them. Ziox was among the pilots. As the ships reached orbit, they were met by fighters and there began the battle. Ziox was in the middle, leading his brothers in battle, when he turned to find more targets. He gave warning that a bomber had broken through their defenses and was heading to the planet. He sped to follow, but failed to notice that he was being followed by another fighter. Ziox destroyed the bomber, but the fighter chasing him shot him down. He pulled himself from the burning wreckage and was eventually taken to the doctors. He carried scars from that crash for the rest of his life.

After the Crash

Ziox felt like he had failed his family in protecting their home planet so he went into a self-proclaimed exile. He made his shelter around what had remained of his Firespray. It had been so long since he had last seen her that plants were growing on it. He made it his goal to fix his Firespray and get back into the battle that still was raging in orbit. It took months to get his ship into working order. One day a man arrived with a message for him from his parents; his brothers had been killed in battle, making Ziox the last male off-spring of his clan.
