Ned Vatago

Early Life

Ned Vatago was born in Corona, on the planet Corellia to Adrian and Aveline Vatago, Ned's father worked in the orbital shipyards above Corellia as an Mechanic/Engineer, So It really isn't that odd that Ned found a love of Starships, Every day when His Father Came Home Ned would ask his father all about the ships he worked on, Ned fell in love with everything from a fighter to a capital ship, and he swore that he would one day fly one... On his 14th birthday, his Father was able to fix up an old airspeeder, it wasn't even a specific model at this point, it had so many different parts of so many different crafts... But to Ned, It was The Greatest gift he could have ever gotten, he flew that airspeeder every day...

Later Teens

When Ned was 16, tragedy struck, his father was working at the orbital shipyards, when a cargo crate fell and crushed him under it's weight... Ned took it hard, as did his mother, Ned swore that he'd make his father proud and that he'd be the best pilot or commander the galaxy had ever known, the odds of that happening are of course very low, but still, he'll try his best anyway, when he was 18 he graduated his small class, and he got a Job working some of the local cantinas, there he found his love for strategy games, for the next two years he played every type of strategy game he could with as many people he could, with those years of playing those games, he honed his mind, and when he could focus, he could outsmart most of his opponents...

Now

When Ned was 20 he sold his airspeeder, and took all the credits he saved up, and sent a application to the Imperial Academy, and to his great joy, he was accepted! With a Sorrowful goodbye to his mother, he left Corellia for Prakith, he has arrived at the academy and Graduated, He now has the rank of Ensign and has gotten his first assignment...

Personality

Ned has a deep love for space and all types of spacecrafts, he loves the idea of going out into the great expanse of space, he is curious and he doesn't like taking orders without being told why, which is a trait he learned from his mother, he isn't stupid though, he knows when to shut his mouth... If you earn Ned's loyalty, he will follow you until the end of the Galaxy, he doesn't like cheaters, he knows war isn't fair, and he knows the Resistance won't play fair, but he doesn't like purposely targeting civilians... However, don't take his sense of honor for weakness, if you are his opponent, he will use every advantage and strategy he can to defeat you, he's also not a half bad pilot, he had practiced for 6 years before the academy...
