Helcosh Yran is a recruit in the Imperial Academy. Born into a life of relative luxury on the planet Naboo, he found himself experiencing a deep wanderlust on the cusp of his 20th birthday. He promptly quit his job in planetary civil service and made his way to Prakith, where he enlisted in the Imperial Academy in the hopes of achieving his life's goal: ascending the ranks of the Galactic Empire and ensuring peace and prosperity for its people.

Biography

Early Life

Helcosh was born in Year 1, on Day 230, to parents Jamillia Yran and Gregar Yran. Growing up in Theed, the throbbing political heart of the planet Naboo, he was immersed in what would eventually become his sole passion: politics.

At the age of 5, in Year 6, Helcosh was enrolled into the Royal Academy of Naboo, which he attended until the age of 13. Amongst the uppermost echelons of his class, Helcosh was a contender for the democratically elected monarch of Naboo; however, he did not pursue this opportunity, seeking instead to one day affect change at a higher level.

In Year 14, after having graduated from the Royal Academy, Helcosh attended Theed University, where he graduated with an honors degree in politics in Year 18.

Upon graduating, Helcosh served as a clerk in the Office of the Governor of Naboo, where he worked until mid-Year 21. It was during this time that he decided to branch out from Naboo, and made his way to the planet Prakith to enlist in the Imperial Academy.

Imperial Service

Upon enlisting into the Imperial Academy, Helcosh was assigned to JTO Marius Moto.

Political Ideology

Though removed from the galactic level and restricted to viewing it through the lens of the Holonet, Helcosh took an active interest in the galactic arena. His initial interest began during the Rule of Chaos, which shaped his politics more profoundly than any other. Seeing the failures of Emperor Bonias, he developed a harshly statist point of view, which was only reenforced with the emergence of Emperor Cherokee's New Order, which brought the stablity that the Bonias regime had lacked. Even under Cherokee, however, Helcosh still initially believed in the ideals of democracy, which was considered a sacred right of all sentients to the Naboo.

This began to warp in the waning years of the war between the Galactic Empire and the New Republic, as Helcosh watched the New Republic openly ignore the ideals upon which it purported to found itself. Contrary to their message of peace and freedom, Helcosh saw the plain corruption and hypocrisy that had overtaken the New Republic. He came to believe that democracy was an inherently corrupt form of government, because it allowed for corrupting influences to take an active role in governance.

Appearance

Helcosh is short, slim, and youthful in appearance. His hair is red and his skin is a pale white. Outside of Imperial uniform, he is most comfortable in long robes with bloused sleeves in the traditional Naboo style. Many of his personal robes feature monogrammed Futhork.

Personality and Traits

Helcosh is a fanatical statist, believing that the Empire's reign should be unchallenged and its laws uncontested. He is uptight, pretentious, and elitist. He ascribes to a humanocentric worldview, believing most aliens to be inferior to humans.
