With a life of crime and pain in the depths of his mind, one would be extremely surprised to learn Xion was taking up a career in the Galactic Empire. With a reputation of being a rule-breaker {he threw stones at Imperial officers), heart-breaker and a bit of a conman, he followed in the footsteps of his father for most of his childhood because it was the only life he knew. However, now only a short time away from his 21st birthday he decided enough was enough and signed himself up to become part of the most notorious Faction in the entire galaxy, the Empire.

Biography

Early life

His father was a typical man. He enjoyed a few too many Corellian Whiskeys and he gambled away almost everything he had built up for his family until they were left with very little and no means of survival. When his wife took ill and passed away when their twins was only six, he drank heavily abandoning the home for days on end, not giving a care in the world about his children's welfare. The only way the twins were able to survive was by Xion earning a few credits and rations by scavanging or stealing to provide for both himself and his sister. It was almost a blessing for the boy when his father ended up disappearing, his body found days later in the desert not too far from the outskirts of their city but the struggle was real. Despite his best efforts to provide for his sister she ended up sick with fever until finally her body gave up just three weeks later. Xion, by this time was 11 and was once more burning another family member and loathing his parents for the life he had been thrown into.

Myrah-Ki

He became well-known for his skills with technology, but more so with his skills of fighting to the point where he was winning bets on who would win against the hardest head-cases in the city. He ended up wwith a few scars along the way across his upper torso, arms and legs but he took great pride in making sure everyone knew he was bad news. It was, for him, survival of the fittest and to show pain was weak. Eventually though fighting became a thing of the past when he met and fell in love with a young girl from his city, Myrah-Ki Xenik. Unlike his own, Myrah's father took great interest in the boy and taught him a thing or two about what honest hard work was like. Before long the Xenik's gave Xion and Myrah their blessing and the pair married, soon after bringing their daughter Ly'ara into the world. By this time, Xion was turning further and further away from the dark path with the memories of his childhood drifting away, and focused on being a great father, loving husband and a hardworking family man.

Tragedy Strikes

Sadly Xion's life was about to take a turn for the worst. Although he refuses to speak about what happened to his wife, it is clear to see that the pain of losing her affected him immensely. He could not even look at his daughter without seeing his wife in her and as much as he knew Myrah would have wanted him to continue being a good father, he could not handle losing another loved one. Instead he left his daughter with the grieving Xenik family and said farewell to Corellia completely, hopping on the first Shuttle taking only a few belongings. Drink, more gambling, fights. Xion picked fights with anyone who even so much as looked at him. He became a thief again, this time stealing from the worst kind of people anyone could steal from. Ships, shuttles, armor, weapons - you name it, Xion would steal it. It was probably likely that along the way he stole a thing or two from the Empire but the day he got caught, something awoke inside of him.

Recruitment

"The Empire needs you." Words that would create a new path and destiny for the male. Despite the numerous times he had disrespected the Imperial soldiers, stolen weapons and armor to sell on for credits to get by, Xion was being approached by a Recruitment Officer and offered a career. He'd have a great education, a decent salary when he graduated, and a chance of a clean slate. All he had to do was sign on the dotted line and that was it.
