Jake Addison is a captain in the Imperial Navy. He is an experienced capital ship commander, but also with a strong understanding of fighters and freighters.

Jake is also an accomplished boloball manager/coach leading the somewhat successful Naboo Raiders for two Seasons, and the Red Star Kiffex for two similarly successful seasons.

Personal History

Early Life

Jake was born on Naboo in the area of Eastern Theed, His parents, André and Taylor, were middle-class merchants who ran a successful business specialising in used freighters. His father took Jake and his mother out on deliveries from time to time, in order to bring the family closer together. When he was twelve, Jake was allowed to work for his parents in their store, meeting and greeting customers, before introducing them to a salesperson. This worked to their advantage, thanks to Jake's young and innocent demeanour at the time.

By the time Jake was an adult, he knew how to operate almost every kind of freighter that his family dealt with, which is why he began delivering ships. This allowed his Father to focus on procuring new products, as well as personally handle their sales. Jake always looked forward to breaking through the atmosphere and speeding through hyperspace towards his destination, but he also loved causing trouble with local authorities, as long as he never got caught.

When he was 26 years old, but just before his 27th birthday, Jake found an Imperial Recruitment Centre on Corellia while he was doing a delivery. He decided he would enlist with the Empire, so after finishing his delivery he returned home and left the family business. He then took a transport to Corellia so that he could begin his time as an Imperial.

Three months after joining the Empire, graduating, and being assigned to the Navy, Jake's parents died in a ship accident while on a delivery. It was caused by a hyperdrive malfunction in an aging YT-510, which caused them to drop out of hyperspace and straight into a sun. Jake was disappointed and depressed by this, but he quickly got over it as he needed to continue working. After the funeral he handed over his Parents Business to one of the managers and never looked Back. Only a month later, the business went bankrupt.

Jake began service with the Imperial Navy and was given command of a squadron of TIE Fighters and TIE Bombers, which he used for system and planetary patrols with the aid of different capital ships to move between systems. It wasn't long before Jake was assigned a TIE Scout which allowed him to travel through hyperspace without the help of anyone else.

Personel

Jake currently has around 100 personnel in his service, but as most of his time is spent on ships, the majority of his hired help are either pilots or builders. Jake always has three combat troopers with him at all times, armed with B-22 Blasters.

Hobbies

Boloball

Even though Jake loves to pilot all sorts of ships, he also loves his boloball, which is why when he was asked to coach a team from his home planet in the Imperial Boloball League he gladly accepted the position and led the Naboo Raiders through two successful seasons before he left. After that, they dropped out of the league in the middle of Year 13.

In late Year 13 Jake was offered to take over the struggling Red Star Kiffex, after their manager Dejkaz Tolorna disappeared. He accepted the offer and is still coaching the Kiffar team and helping them to recover from their streak of losses.

Jake served in the Imperial Navy for 4 years, achieving the rank of Captain O-6 and was the Group Commanding Officer for the 8th and 3rd Groups.

King of the Enlisted

With the promotion of Teveoji Var to Ensign, Jake Addison was selected to serve as the King of the Enlisted by Var. With the new honorary position given to him, Jake Addison respected Var's Wishes and allowed Talin Ajiati to kick Var's butt out of the channel and Jake assumed his new position on the throne.
