Born on Tatooine to a middleclass trading family, Morastus grew up admiring the Galactic Empire. Alan Morastus, his father was an Imperial officer, and drew much respect. Sadly, he was killed in a transport crash when Morastus was seven, and his family was driven into poverty.
As his family moved from town to town in search of work, Morastus determined to join the Imperial Army to follow in the footsteps of his father. Every night he would read of the battles of old, and the histories.
Age 17, his mother, and two sisters were killed by pirates, leaving Morastus alone. For many years he worked selling carpets just to get by. Age 36, he decided to sign up.
