Amne Mariah Zailyn is currently serving as a Master Sergeant in the Imperial Army.
Biography
Amne was born in Year -8 to Lydia Zailyn, a xenobiologist at the University of Lorell. Growing up in a matriarchal home, Amne had limited exposure to men apart from the gentleman callers or business associates of her mothers. Lydia lived with her widowed best friend Gwenae Raleda (a professor of the Hapan language) to assist in raising Gwenae's daughter, Tariogh; likewise, Gwenae became a second mother to Amne, whose father was unknown. Although they hadn't intended for the arrangement to be long-lived, it remained so until Tariogh went offworld for university and then Gwenae remarried when Amne was fifteen.
