Croi Varhoc Sudon was born and raised in Anchorhead, Tatooine, by his mother and father, Elise and Gershom Sudon. Fletcher, the primary income source for the family and long term resident of Anchorhead, owned and operated a mechanic's shop, and primarily serviced landspeeders, moisture vaporators, and other farm equipment. Elise, prior to her death in a Sand People raid seven years after Croi's birth, managed the household's hydroponic gardens as well as handling office work for Gershom's shop.
Raised by Gershom alone from seven years of age, Croi spent most of his time outside of school in his father's shop, where he began assisting his father with repairs and learning the trade, hoping to someday take over the family business.
