Society and Culture
Kuati are widely known across the Galaxy for their shipbuilding skills and their control of Kuat Drive Yards. These are one of the biggest and well known shipyards in the galaxy and almost the most ships of the Imperial Navy fleets were built there. Because of the economic success most Kuati have an over average income and live a good life within the huge cities of Kuat's surface.

Economy
The greatest and most successful economic branch of Kuat is definitely the building of ships within the huge shipyards of the Kuat Drive, a huge ring around the main planet Kuat. Just the view of this huge building shows to power and influence of the Galactic Empire and Navy e.g. the Stardestroyers built in Kuat. Because it is the headquaters of the Navy we take that very seriously and allow you to have basic access
Politics
Kuat has been colonized before the Old Republic and was one of the Core Planets which founded the Old Republic. In these times the rich families of Kuat made an alliance which was called "The Ten" with the aim to build the greatest ship yard in the whole galaxy. So they prepared the planet for being a huge economic center. Since these old days the Oversector Kuat has steady grown and exceeded itself under the control of the Galactic Empire.
At the moment Moff Machkhit is the head of the entire sector.
Gortis
The Planet Gortis is under the command of Governor Alfan Located in the Kuat system, the planet Gortis consists of ice and glaciers intermingled with patches of craters, because of it's year-round sub-zero temperatures.
Military
In the long history of Kuat, the system has been under heavy attacks from different factions, which tried to constrict the Imperial economy but they had never success in controling the system or the sector because of the strong Imperial Military presence in these worlds, primary supported of the Star Destroyer shipyards above Kuat. Of course each planet has it's own imperial supported security services to look after Rebel influence.
