Description and Personality

Santiano Salazar is an adult Coruscanti male of average height and weight(5'11 and 190 lbs). He has black hair and brown eyes, Due to his place of birth and upbringing on Coruscant he speaks basic with the typical Crouscanti inflection found primarly with personel in the Imperial Navy . He tends to be a friendly yet quiet person, and also enjoys gambling his spare credits.

Before Imperial Service

Early Years

Santiano was born into a Wealthy upper middle class coruscanti family. His father, Anton Salazar owned a small but successful transportation company operating in Coruscant. The income from this family allowed the Salazar's to enjoy a life of comparative luxury though not part of the aristorcracy. As a child he was educated by private tutors. He spent his early years in the comfort of his home or his fathers place of business, where he would play around onboard the damaged or parked freighters and barges. At the age of eight he became old enought to become of a member of the Imperial SAGroup.

SAGroup, The beginning of Imperial Service

"Hail to the Emperor, the Empire, and the New Order. May its righteousness never falter."
— Salute given by SAGroup youth

At the age of eight Santiano was enrolled in the Imperial SAGroup. An organization sponsored by The Empire with the purpose of providing Imperial youth with recreation and to educate Imperial youth on how to be a proper Imperial citizen.

When he was old enough and of proper rank, Santiano was transferred to the SAGEducation(SAGEd)-youth division branch of the SAGroup, due to his private education. This was the acedemic branch of the SAGroup, responsible for the education of Imperial youth within SAGroup. It was here that he would meet some of his closest friends. It was in SAGEd that he became close friends with three other youths, Inge, Han, and Jean-luc. Through the remaining years these four would remain inseparable. They would study together, participate in SAGroup activities together, and on off days hang out together at Santiano's home. Jean luc was another Coruscanti male of a more aristocratice background with blonde hair and was a bit overconfident at times. Han was a Correlian boy of a lower middle class background and of smaller stature and Inge was a strappig young blonde Coruscanti female, and a talented artist. It was Jean luc who would teach Santiano the game of Sabacc, they would practice together and eventual became good enough to swindle away credits from members of SAGRec.

During this time Santiano, was continuing to study under private tutors, and as he became older, he began to work in his fathers transport business. At frist helping to load and unload cargo, then aid in the repair of freighters and barges, and as he became old enough to have a learners permit, fly the smaller barges and transports around on deliveries. Santiano and his friends would at times sneak out and go joy riding through the neigborhood, and while stricly against Imperial law, and unfitting for imperial youth, Santiano and Jean would work their way into Sabacc parlors to play for real credits. This activity was not always good for their health as their ability would often times anger the other patrons, but they were lucky more times than not to get away in time. This is not to say Santiano was not a good citizen, He had won the Best young citizen award in SAGroup one year, not an easy accomplishpment. Working in his father's company would earn him valuable experience for later on in his Imperial Career.

All Good Things...

As the four friends grew older and became eligable for Imperial service, It was time for them to go their seperate ways. Inge elected to Join COMPNOR, while Jean elected to go to the Imperial Academy and eventualy the navy. Santiano had given some thought to joining the Imperial Navy, given the fact he could already pilot ships, and he even gave thought to joining COMPNOR,Santiano always had a crush on Inge, In the end Santiano decided to go with little Han and join the Imperial Army. Santiano would eventually find himself the Imperial armor divisions, while Han became an infantryman. Even though Han and Santiano were not in the same units, and even though his other friends were in other branches, the four friends stay in contact and are still close friends.

Service in the Imperial Army

"Come on you apes! You wanta live forever?"
— Unknown Platoon sergeant,1918

On year 11 day 163 Santiano Salazar, now a new Private, began his career in the Imperial Army. He was sent to army training camp where he was to learn what it means to be an Imperial soldier. He was trained in the use of the Empire's most mordern weaponry. It was also there that he was first introduced to the the famous AT-ATs of the Imperial Army. After seeing the firepower of the goliath war machines, Santiano knew he we wanted to go into the armored divisions. HIs time at training camp went by quickly and once it was finished he was assigned to the [ ] Imperial Legion.

During these early stages he took up standard duties with the legion, patrol duty, guard duty. combat patrols. He was cutting his teeth on the ground and working his way through the ranks until he could request to be assigned to an armored unit. His wish came true quickly as after a few short months he was allowed to leave to be trained as an Imperial Army Pilot.

The training was very difficult, It was not physically demanding, but the techincal knowhow needed to operate and maintiain Imperial Armor was very demanding. Santiano did not mind, his dream of finally operating the AT-AT had come true. and after a few months he was now a qualified army pilot. He was assigned back to his legion and began his new line of work in armor.

Santiano was happy to be back in his old legion, when he arrived however, he found some of his old friends had been promoted, others had left or had died in combat. There were alot of new guys who had come in and replaced them. IT was not long after, that an old friend from his early days in the legion had returned from reserved duty. Santiano and his good friend Felix Stones were once again comrades on the battlefield. Stones is a a very good, if not headstrong, Imperial soldier. Santiano often has to remind Stones to calm down, or behave himself, but Stones often says Santiano needs to "lighten up a bit"

Santiano Is currently serving in the Imperial Army. His Legion and brigade are classified.
