As arguably the most difficult to enter Enclaves, the Kintik Enclave espouses an elitist attitude. Their membership is held to an extremely high standard, where things that may be shrugged off by most members of the Sith result in severe punishments for those who have been granted entrance into the Kintik Enclave.

The philosophy of the Kintik is that the Force plays but a small part in a leaders available tools. Kintik's believe that by using their natural leadership abilities, their knowledge of political manipulation, as well as strategic expert use of Force powers, one can expand beyond being just a citizen of the galaxy and instead become one of the few who manages to shape it. This ideal often leads people to falsely believe that those within the Enclave are sociopaths or egomaniacs, quite the opposite is true. It is strongly believed by those in the Enclave that many who are considered galactic leaders are but puppets for the people who reside in the shadows controlling them. It is those people in the shadows that embody what a member of the Kintik Enclave strive for.

Vague rumors also circulate that those in the Kintik Enclave have been known to orchestrate operations to illegally manipulate governments throughout the galaxy, or even to eliminate certain galactic citizens who they feel provide a barrier between the status quo and what the Enclave feels is right. While some investigations have been launched, none have ever found evidence supporting these alleged crimes. On par with the Enclave's history, the Enclave has not commented on the matter.
