Personal History

Childhood

Nils was born on Day 61 of the Year -4 BCGT to devout Imperials, Sophie and Warren Malloc. Nils grew up with his loving family on the Imperial world of Coruscant, in the semi-industrial CoCo Town district. In the very same district, his father worker in and owned a successful medical surgery. Meanwhile, his mother looked after the household.

At the time, Warren was one of two living practitioners in the Malloc family surgery. Aside from himself, he employed a medical student from the University of Coruscant, per an arrangement between the surgery and University that had been running for 7 years prior to Nils' birth. The rest of the staff was made up of 2-1B Surgical Droids and FX-7 Medical Droids. It was in this medical practice that Nils was born.

Nils grew up running around the surgery, learning the ins and outs of medicine, and bonding with his father. This gave Nils a sense of confidence when around the 'regulars' of the surgery. Yet, Nils was naturally quite timid, and as such, was still apprehensive around others.

However, he did not find himself out of trouble for long. During his earlier education, he was quite often found to be the victim of abuse from his peers. His shy nature made him the biggest target for bullies, and would come home with black eyes, bruises and fresh scars. His misfortunes led to him developing anger issues and preferring to stay within the confines of his own home. As a result, his young childhood became plagued with difficulty, and aggression towards his parents.

Preadolescence and Adolescence

The angry and solitary Nils led his parents to believe they had failed him. They had run out of ideas trying to help him out of the shell that he had adorned, turning instead to just providing him a home, food and reluctantly leaving him to his ways. The one thing they did know, was that Nils was loyal to the Empire. So, once he reached the age of 13, they sent him to the SAGroup. It was a last resort for them, but for Nils, it was the opportunity he had been waiting for.

In the Sub-Adult Group, Nils was provided with the means to better himself; to show everyone what he was really made of. He developed discipline, leadership, organisation and skills that would provide him the means to serve the Empire in any branch. It was pretty clear to everyone, that in spite of the efforts Nils took to improve himself, he was not military material yet.

Joining the Empire

As any good Imperial citizen, Nils thought it only right to serve the Empire. His success in the SAGroup allowed him to be selected for the Officer tract, and so he was destined for the Imperial Academy on Prakith. Nils had made his way to the Academy assigned landing pad on Coruscant alone. His family had long moved on from him at this point, and he had come to appreciate the solitude he was given from his family.

After his time at the Academy, further honing his skills, and learning the more refined necessities for a citizen serving the Empire, he graduated with honours.
