Early Life
Rurra was born to a family of a mid-level clan in the Bothan Combined Clans, which meant that he lived a life relatively free of intrigue from a Bothan's perspective, but one that would have made any human child grey-haired by the age of ten. He attended Bothan-equivalent primary and secondary school and was enrolled in one of the prestigious "academies" on Bothawui, the neighbor to his homeworld of Kothlis, when the Clone Wars broke out. As most of the galaxy was embroiled in the intrigue and chaos of the various squalls, wars and coups that were rocking the galaxy, Rurra was engaged in the pseudo-political battles that were fought in the halls of universities and academic buildings across Bothan Space, relatively free of the political tensions that existed just outside of the entrances to their shelters.
