The 8th Imperial Fleet, commonly referred by its abbreviation 8IF or in naval environments just as "the Eighth", is one of eight fleets in the Imperial Navy. It is the newest addition to the Imperial Navy and, although it is militarily operational, is still amassing it's resources including personnel and ships. It's main base is in the Corsin system and with it's recent influx of new members is on the verge of beginning it's role as an efficient and active Fleet of the Imperial Navy.

Current Fleet Command
Commanding Officer
Rear Admiral Axe Vulcan currently serves as the Eighth's second Commanding Officer since formation after Commander Rann Van, who served as the original the Eighth's first Commander upon formation on Year 9 Day 274..
Executive Officer
Lieutenant Junior Grade Mo`Rak Stice currently serves as the Eighth's second Executive Officer.
Chief of Staff
Ensign Mekum Campbell currently serves as the Eighth's Third in Command (3IC) and Chief of Staff of the fleet since it's formation. He was previously the interim Second in Command (2IC) until the appointment of Lieutenant Commander Veneslas Jerankav before Commander Rann Van, as Executive Officer. He resumed the role upon the post once again becoming vacant before the appointment of the current Executive Officer.
Operations Adjutant
Staff Flight Sergeant Josef DeLaurel has served with Eighth since the fleet's formation. As the current Operations Adjutant, replacing Flight Officer Kosto Ygothab, he is responsible for all administrative matters within the fleet.
