The First Imperial Fleet, also known as the 'Fighting First' are the Guardians
of both the Imperial Capital and its surrounding sectors, known for outstanding
discipline and performance, The fleet has proven time after time. It is this that
has earned them their two 'Unit Distinguished Service Awards' (UDS). The first aims

History
Formed during the Year 12 restructure of the Imperial Military the 1st Imperial Fleet was formed from the remnants of the 10th Imperial Fleet originally stationed in the Meridian Sector. Following the restructure the Fleet underwent various changes and it still held its former motto, "Nihil aliud scit necessitas quam vincere" - 'Necessity knows nothing else but victory' until year 13 in which it was changed to the current motto
