Biography
- Prelude
Raised by a Hapan family on Coruscant, Hudson never knew his birth parents, who were killed during a rebel uprising in the Outer Rim. Motivated by a drive to honor their memory, he sets high standards for himself in everything he does. Hudson’s military journey began early—he joined the Imperial Navy Cadets at sixteen, quickly distinguishing himself as a natural leader and excelling in capital ship command simulations. His determination and passion for the Imperial Navy propelled him forward, and by the time he was eligible, he graduated from the Imperial Academy’s Basic Training with Honors.

Military Career-
- The Beginning
After successfully passing the Imperial Academy’s demanding examinations, Hudson joined the Imperial Navy at the rank of Crewman [E-2]. As a pilot within a well-established fleet, he quickly realized that a career in the Imperial Navy was his true calling. Serving in the Galactic Core with the Tenth Imperial Fleet, Hudson thrived and found genuine fulfillment among his peers.
Over time, he rose through the enlisted ranks, becoming a senior member valued for his high standards and impressive performance during operations, patrols, and combat exercises. When the Imperial Navy underwent reorganization, Hudson distinguished himself and was commissioned as an Ensign [O-1]. From that moment, his ambition crystallized—he was determined to set new benchmarks and earn a legendary reputation in the Navy.
Focused on his goal of becoming a Commander, Hudson dedicated himself to his duties. Nearly a year of relentless hard work culminated in his appointment as Executive Officer of the Tenth Group in the newly formed First Imperial Fleet, created from the restructured remains of his previous unit. Hudson grew particularly fond of this group, serving alongside colleagues who shaped him as both a pilot and an officer. He continued in his role as Group Executive Officer for a significant and rewarding tenure.
- Unit Command
Settled into his role as Executive Officer, Hudson soon found himself swept up in a wave of change, leading to his appointment as Commanding Officer and a promotion to Lieutenant Junior Grade [O-2]. This made him one of the youngest officers to hold such a position in his era. Achieving one of his lifelong ambitions only fueled his desire to push further—he became determined to set the highest standards for his unit and to ensure their reputation as one of the Empire's most capable and respected groups.
As Commanding Officer, Hudson underwent rigorous evaluations and was selected to serve with the Department of Military Intelligence as a Military Intelligence Officer. While many of his achievements in this role remain classified, the experience allowed him to expand his skills as a Navy Commander and played a defining role in shaping the officer he is today.
- The Department of Training
As time went on, Hudson continued to expand his service to the Imperial Navy by taking on the newly established role of Navy Training Officer, dedicated to the ongoing development of the Navy and His Majesty’s Fleets. Hudson was instrumental in shaping the position, founding the Department of Training and joining the Navy Command leadership team. In this capacity, he championed continuous improvement throughout the Navy and launched the highly regarded Imperial Navy Tournament, which quickly became a highlight of the naval calendar.
After leaving his roles in Military Intelligence and as Commanding Officer of the 10th Group—positions he entrusted to his Executive Officer and close friend, Lieutenant Junior Grade Sal Takla—Hudson was confident that his legacy would endure in his former unit. This allowed him to fully dedicate himself to his new responsibilities as Navy Training Officer, shaping the future of the Imperial Navy.
During his tenure as Navy Training Officer, Hudson established the First Imperial Navy Tournament—a biannual event designed to test and showcase the skills of Imperial Navy pilots. Pilots from each fleet are selected to represent their division—either Capital Command or Starfighter Command. The tournament spans more than a week and rotates its location each year, with the inaugural event held on Coruscant and the First Imperial Fleet providing the honor guard.
The competition features one-on-one dogfights between each fleet’s elite pilots in their respective divisions, ultimately crowning the top performers as the Imperial Navy Capital Command Champion and Imperial Navy Starfighter Command Champion.

- Fleet Command
Returning to his former home, the Commander accepted the role of Fleet Commanding Officer of the 1st Imperial Fleet—an offer extended by the Lord Admiral—with great pleasure. With many of his old comrades still serving in the fleet, the decision was an easy one. Throughout his career, the Commander had admired figures like former Lord Admirals Titan and Blackrain, as well as his long-time mentor, Rear Admiral Ranson Sharp, recalling their legacies as Fleet Commanders.
Determined to uphold and build upon the fleet’s distinguished reputation, he dedicated himself to maintaining high standards and combat effectiveness across the fleet, ensuring the time-honored motto endured: “Nothing Can Stop the First!”
- Operation Minsk / The Battle of Churnis
Also known as the Battle of Churnis, Operation Minsk took place in the Churnis Sector, where the 1st Imperial Fleet and its counterpart, the 1st Imperial Legion, launched offensive operations against the Zann Consortium and other groups seeking control of the region.
The 1st Imperial Fleet successfully halted the initial advance of Zann Consortium ground forces until the arrival of the 1st Imperial Legion, which helped stall the enemy offensive. The fleet then shifted to intelligence gathering and coordinated air-to-ground operations with the Legion, ultimately forcing the withdrawal of all Consortium forces from the sector. These joint operations resulted in the arrest of two key targets: Fleet Admiral Igorod Krakatoa, commander of Triumvirate Navy operations in Churnis, and a Sunguard Officer, whose capture led to the subsequent arrest of Imperial defector Borijov Goerke.
For its actions in the Churnis Sector, the 1st Imperial Fleet was awarded a Campaign Medal.
