Rann Van is a Commander in the Imperial Navy. Rann was born on the planet of Corellia but met a early heart-wrenching loss when his parents died in a rebel raid on his home town on the outskirts of Corona. It was on Corellia that he spent much of his early life until finally getting enough money to travel to Coruscant to start a career and family. After getting married, and having a troubled marrige at that, he got divorced and lost his business working as a Shuttle distributor. It wasn't until after that did he enroll in the Imperial Academy in which he graduated to serve in the Galactic Empire in the Imperial Navy as the Fleet Commanding Officer of the 5th Imperial Fleet.
